Jesus answered the second question in Mathew 24:22-30. Our English word coming is applied to two Greek words with two very different meanings. "Erchomai" means to physically come or go as in entering or leaving a room. The other word is "parousia" which means arrival and subsequent presence, and not necessarily a physical action. Clearly His disciples were not inquiring as to what would be the sign of Christ's physical return. That will be the glorified Jesus Himself. We meet Him in the air after the first resurrection and the translation of the living saints. We meet Him personally. His precious feet can not touch this earth until all the saints return back with Him for the Millennium to step out upon the ashes of the wicked—after the destruction of all life on earth.

The second Coming spoken of in Mathew 24 is by no means physical. The second physical return of the glorified Lord Jesus will be an "erchomai" Coming. This question concerns His "parousia" Coming. Christ's "parousia", or arrival and subsequent Presence, is not a Man. It is the FULLNESS of the Word. The revelation of the Seven Seals brought Him back to earth in WORD Form. He came through the mouth of a prophet, the seventh angel, or prophet-messenger to the Laodicean Church Age. His name was William Branham. Jesus explained how His parousia would be a "universal" Coming. No man could appear universally. We are NOT to look for a Man. The sign of today's Coming was the Shekinah in the Form of a Cloud, as described in Daniel 7, the Gospels, Acts 1:11 and Revelation 1:7.
