Most people have never considered this question, because they have been taught that the earth is spherical, just as they have been taught God is a trinity. Consequently, they have accepted what has been taught and entered a complacent state. This subject has caught the attention of a number of saints who have carefully studied the persuasive pros and cons. Please take time to prayerfully, thoughtfully, and patiently read our arguments and prove all things in your own Bible. Of graver importance as we approach Nisan 14 this year is our study on particular verses in the Book of Job that prophesy the manifestation of the Sixth Seal, the close of the Gentile dispensation, the manifestation of the Sons of God and our translation prior to the great tribulation of Daniel's Seventieth Week, then Armageddon.
Seems British Prime Minister Theresa May has been caught ignorantly promoting a hoax of the kind Tony Blair and George Bush devised in service to the 'war party.' Like the S.S. Lusitania, S.S. Sussex, Gulf of Tonkin, three exterminations of six million Jews in the twentieth century, the CIA's al Qaeda, yellowcake from Niger, Saddam's WMD, and President Al Assad's alleged chemical attacks, it appears "Novichok" exists only as a hoax. This woman is out of her place (Titus 2:5), caught in a scam to provoke Russia on the eve of the Football World Cup hosted by Russia and to discredit President Putin before the national elections. Her sin discloses the perfidious intent of Albion and the West and confirms the inefficiency of Western Intelligence which was ignorant of the advanced weapons President Putin announced.
When dealing with a bear Mrs. May, hubris is suicidal! The apostate, bankrupt West is punching above its weight, far beyond its moral, financial and technological stature; the united States—soon to be devastated by unprecedented tectonic forces—will be invaded by a superior power, then saved under Roman vassalage.

Russian to Judgement
March 13, 2018 — The same people who assured you that Saddam Hussein had WMD's now assure you Russian "novichok" nerve agents are being wielded by Vladimir Putin to attack people on British soil. As with the Iraqi WMD dossier, it is essential to comb the evidence very finely. A vital missing word from Theresa May's statement yesterday was "only." She did not state that the nerve agent used was manufactured ONLY by Russia. She rather stated this group of nerve agents had been "developed by" Russia. Antibiotics were first developed by a Scotsman, but that is not evidence that all antibiotics are today administered by Scots.
The "novichok" group of nerve agents—a very loose term simply for a collection of new nerve agents the Soviet Union were developing fifty years ago—will almost certainly have been analysed and reproduced by Porton Down. That is entirely what Porton Down is there for. It used to make chemical and biological weapons as weapons, and today it still does make them in small quantities in order to research defences and antidotes. After the fall of the Soviet Union Russian chemists made a lot of information available on these nerve agents. And one country which has always manufactured very similar persistent nerve agents is Israel. Doubts about 'Novichoks'
March 15, 2018 — 1) There are reasons to doubt that these compounds are military grade nerve agents or that a Russian "Novichoks" programme ever existed. If they were potentially usable as chemical weapons, people on the OPCW Scientific Advisory Board who were in a position to know the properties of these compounds would have recommended that they be added to the list of Scheduled Chemicals. They have never been added.
2) Synthesis at bench scale of organic chemicals such as the purported "Novichoks" is within the capability of a modern chemistry laboratory. Porton Down itself must have been able to synthesize these compounds in order to develop tests for them. The detection of such a compound does not establish Russian origin . . . Comment: Where is Sherlock? According to experts and scientists this is a hoax. At a ceremony last November at the headquarters of the world body responsible for the elimination of chemical weapons in The Hague, a plaque was unveiled to commemorate the destruction of the last of Russia's stockpiles. Gen. Ahmet Üzümcü, the director general of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which works closely with the UN, was fulsome in his praise. March 11, 2018 — In February 2014, an extremely violent, and US-engineered but 'democracy'-masked, coup in Ukraine on Russia's very doorstep, was successfully culminated by its overthrowing Ukraine's neutralist and democratically elected leader, and then by its installing there a rabidly anti-Russian government, out for Russian blood . . . ethnic-cleansing . . . Why are NATO Air Forces moving from Turkey to Jordan?
March 15, 2018 — The huge NATO air force base is slowly moving from Turkey to Jordan . . . Is the West really losing Turkey? Nobody knows . . . What if Erdogan moves closer to Russia, even to China? What if Turkey's relationship with Iran improves? What if Ankara has finally gotten tired of being humiliated, for years and decades, by the European Union? The West's Failed Efforts to Destroy Syria: the Women and Men of Syria will not be Caged
March 13, 2018 — Obliterated and denied by mainstream war propaganda are core facts which are foundational to understanding the depth of the West's degeneracy as it continues its efforts to destroy Syria. First, President Assad is hugely popular with the vast majority of Syrians. During the 2014 Presidential elections, government-secured areas had a voter turn-out rate of 73.4%, of which 88.7% voted for President Assad. When asked to describe the context of a video showing crowds of jubilant Syrians happy to see their President, Syrian Afraa Dagher reported: "First of All, I Love this President exactly as all those Syrians around him love him! When you love someone you run to see him when you know he is around! So . . . people always gather to meet him and to express their love to this brother son father of them before being a great leader. God Syria and Bashar."
Similarly, Syrians held captive by Western-supported terrorists in East Ghouta are now publicly displaying their support for the legitimate Syrian government and its military. Second, the Syrian identity is secular and pluralist. There is a firewall between religion and the secular government. Western terrorists, on the other hand, seek to erase this identity and impose fundamentalist interpretations of Sharia law and some type of puppet dictatorship through partitioning of the country and the subjugation of Syrian peoples. A New Chapter in Foreign Entanglements?
March 14, 2018 — So what is Donald Trump up to? His announcement of tariffs appears intended to greatly enhance the ability of the US to fight a prolonged world war—while increasing its likelihood. The official announcement of the tariffs came just three days after a post-Purim war pow wow with the Israeli prime minister [Meileikowski, err Netanyahu] on March 5th. A Brief History of Palestine and Israel Explains Everything
March 13, 2018 — A gathering of Zionists in Switzerland in 1897 chose Palestine as the location for their proposed Jewish State, even though the population of Palestine at that time was 96% Muslim and Christian. An exploratory group of Jews visited Palestine at that time and reported that, "The bride is beautiful, but she is married to another man." The Zionists understood from the beginning that force would be necessary to remove those people in Palestine for whom it was already a homeland . . . In the battle of Somme initiated in July of that year Britain suffered 57,000 casualties on the first day of fighting . . .
The Zionists suggested that they and their Jewish friends in high places could induce the United States to enter into the war on the side of the British . . . Thus Britain supported the creation of a Jewish state on Palestinian land in order to maintain its global empire (a primary cause of WWI), protect its lucrative opium market in China, and to attempt to induce the 'seconding coming' of Jesus. American career Foreign Service Officer Evan M. Wilson, who had served as Minister-Consul General in Jerusalem . . . sent a commission to Palestine to investigate the situation in person. After spending two months in the area interviewing all sections of the population, the commissioners stated that the creation of a Jewish state in Palestine could be accomplished only with "the gravest trespass upon the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine," pointing out that subjecting Palestinians "to steady financial and social pressure to surrender the land, would be a gross violation of the principle of self-determination and of the peoples' rights."
The report stated that meetings with Jewish representatives made it clear that "the Zionists looked forward to a practically complete dispossession of the present non-Jewish inhabitants of Palestine." It concluded that armed force would be required to accomplish this, and urged the Peace Conference to dismiss the Zionist proposals. The commission recommended that "the project for making Palestine distinctly a Jewish commonwealth should be given up." The report was in fact suppressed . . .

Trump's Trade War – or 'De-Globalization'?
March 13, 2018 — [Globalist Jewish] President Trump, or whoever directs him, may have noticed the steady decline of the American economy into a hollow war and service machine, with rising unemployment at the tune of more than 20% (though the fake statistics pretend otherwise, putting git below 5%); a country gradually choking on junk consumption, anti-Russia propaganda and a rapidly deteriorating physical infrastructure and civil society . . . so-called Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and multi country Trade Agreements like, NAFTA, TTIP, and TPP—the former being renegotiated and the latter two suspended—are quite different from "local production for local markets." They all, without fault, favour US corporations' maximizing profit objective, but not the United States local economy . . . our (western) dollar-based monetary system (born from the [Jewish] Federal Reserve Act of 1913) shapes and manipulates the western boom—bust economy. Logic would rather dictate a reverse monetary system, where a nation's economic output is the basis for its monetary system, not the other way around.
This monetary anomality has been driven to extremes with the US-dollar's offspring, the euro, which has zero connection with the European economy, let alone with the economy of each member country. Their study took data from nearly 2,000 public opinion surveys and compared it to the policies that ended up becoming law. In other words, they compared what the public wanted to what the government actually did. II Corinthians 3:1-18, "Do we begin to commend ourselves again? Or do we, as some do, need letters of recommendation to you, or from you? You yourselves are our letter of recommendation written in our hearts, to be known and read by everyone, making it obvious that you are Christ's letter delivered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but on tablets of the heart. Such is the confidence we have toward God through Christ, not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; but our sufficiency is God-given; who has made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of written Law, but of the Spirit: for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive."
"But if the ministration of death, engraved in letters on stone, was inaugurated with such splendour that the Israelites could not gaze intently at the face of Moses because of its radiance, which after all faded away, will the ministration of the spirit not be attended with greater splendour? I Corinthians 13:10, "When that which is perfect [or complete—the fullness of the Word] is come, then that which is in part and fragmentary will be done away [together with Christ's mediation for ignorance of the fulness]".
I was directed to a paper entitled "Sixty-seven References which tell us that it is the Sun and not the Earth that Moves." We will first examine four verses that have been misunderstood along with similar verses before we consider the sixty-three examples of religious literalism.
Isaiah 38:8 reads literally: "Behold I will turn the shadow of the steps which the sun has gone down on the steps of Ahaz backward ten steps; and the sun turned back ten steps on the steps which it had gone down." The retreating shadow, symbolically lengthening the day, was a pledge of the postponement of that "night in which no man can work" (John 9:4) which had almost overtaken Hezekiah. His sundial located "in the middle court" (II Kings 20:4) was of such a size and so placed that when Isaiah turned back to announce God's gracious answers he could witness the miracle from his sick-chamber (Isaiah 38:21-22; II Kings 20:7-11). The effect produced on the shadow was only local and to satisfy Hezekiah, for the king of Babylon and his astronomers "sent to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land" (II Chronicles 32:31), implying that it had not extended to their country.
Job 26:7, "God [continuously expands or] stretches out the north[ern hemisphere of the heavenly vault or firmament] over the empty space, and hangs the earth [which is never said to be expanded or stretched] on or from nothing [but the empty space]".
To ancients living in the northern hemisphere "north" denoted the heavens stretched out as a curtain or tent over the empty space or expanse of the atmosphere as they appear to revolve around the Pole (Job 9:8; Isaiah 14:13; 34:4; 40:22; Revelation 6:12-14). God hangs the earth upon its own center which He alone sustains by His own power and providence; no props or pillars support it, and before the First Nicaea Council there was NO trinity to help Him carry the weight (Psalm 104:2; Isaiah 37:16; 44:24; Zechariah 12:1; Colossians 1:17).
Consistent with earth's globular form "the chambers of the south" or southern hemisphere is mentioned in Job 9:5-9, "God suddenly, unexpectedly, moves the mountains, overturning them in His anger before they are conscious of the mighty change which has been effected in them" (Psalm 35:8; Proverbs 5:6). "He shakes earth from its axis, and its pillars tremble in the earthquake . . . all the foundations of the earth are out of course" (Psalm 75:3; 82:5b; Isaiah 24:18-20). [It is as if Job were prophesying Christ's (Gk.) 'parousia' Coming in verse 11, and the close of the Christian dispensation when by an unprecedented convulsion of nature "God will shake not the earth only, but also heaven," (Isaiah 13:6-13; 34:1-10; Haggai 2:6-7, 21-22; Luke 21:25; Hebrews 12:26-29; II Peter 3:10-12; Revelation 6:12-17; 16:18-21; 18:21-24)].
According to the poetical representation prevalent in the Old Testament the subterranean roots of the mountains are the foundations or pillars on which earth rests suspended on nothing, not even on turtles. Their summits, lifted high above the earth are metaphorical pillars that support the heavenly vault (Job 26:11; 38:6; Isaiah 40:22). The literal truth given in Job 26:7 is that "God hangeth the earth upon or from nothing." The northern hemisphere is not suspended or attached to anything above to sustains its weight: neither is the southern hemisphere supported by the vault of its heaven].
Job 9:7, "God commands the sun that it does not shine and seals the stars as if they were shut up in a room so that they may not be seen." The Hebrew word 'chatham' means to "seal up." Chatham House in London is the headquarters of The Royal Institute of Foreign Affairs, Jewry's sovereign City State of London's 'big sister' to The US Council on Foreign Relations. The Chatham House Rule states: "When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed".
God always works in threes, His perfect number. God is perfected in His threes, so everything in the Bible is typed in threes, sevens, twelves, twenty-fours, forties, and fifties. The Bible mentions three Supernatural darkenings of the sun:
1. In Exodus 10:21-23, "The Lord told Moses, Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness that may be felt. So Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days [as Ra the sun god was darkened] . . . but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings." Now that was a miracle!
2. Matthew 27:45-52: following Jesus' arrest in Gethsemane on Nisan 14, AD30, captains and officers of the Jews first took Him bound to Annas (John 18:13), thence before a formal meeting of the Sanhedrin at the palace of Caiaphas the high priest. Peter's last denial was at "cock crow" around three. (Mark 13:35; 14:30, 68, 72; John 13:38; 18:27). The Council passed sentence at about six but replaced the religious charge of blasphemy on which He had been tried and condemned to death with the civil charge "of perverting the nation, forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, and declaring He Himself is Christ, a King," an offence against Roman laws over which Pilate had jurisdiction (Luke 23:2). Allowing a further three hours for His trials before Pilate and Herod and an interval for the soldiers to take their early meal, the slow procession would have arrived at Golgotha, the place of crucifixion, at nine.
Jesus was on the Cross for three hours, then "from noon until three there was darkness over all the land of Judea when Jesus cried with a loud voice, 'Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?' that is, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Some of the bystanders hearing it said, 'This man is calling Elijah.' And one of them ran and took a sponge, filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed for Him to drink. But the others said, 'Let us see whether Elijah will come to save Him.' Jesus cried once again with a loud voice and dismissed His spirit. "The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth quaked and the rocks were split; and the tombs were opened and many bodies of the saints which slept arose".
3. Revelation 6:12-17, "When Christ opened the Sixth Seal I beheld an earthquake of unprecedented magnitude (Revelation 8:5; 11:19; 16:18-19; 18:21-24). The sun became black as sackcloth, and the full moon became like blood, and the stars of heaven fell to the earth as when a fig tree casts her unripe winter fruit when shaken by a mighty gale. The starry heavens vanished as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was dislodged. And the kings of the earth and the nobles and the generals and the wealthy and the strong, yes, everyone, bond and free, hid in the caves and in the mountain rocks, and called to the mountains and to the rocks, 'Fall on us, and hide us from the presence of the One [not three] seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of His wrath has come, and who can stand before it'?"
On the first Passover and at Calvary the Lord was dealing with the nation of Israel, here He is dealing with all nations: this darkness will be global. In prophesying the Day of the Lord Isaiah 13:6-13 says, "The stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger".
Job 9:8-9, "Alone God [continually] stretches out the firmament [by His governing power] that it may not be rolled up as a scroll or folded up as a garment [as it soon will be (Hebrews 1:12)]; He fills it with clouds, that seem to hang low, and inclined towards the earth; and in His descent from the vault of heaven He comes down from His high throne as ruler and controller, and treads upon the high dashing waves of the sea, taming their violence" [when agitated by the sinking of a 1,500 x 300-400 mile segment of earth's crust = 90% of the land area of Queensland, displacing earth from its axis such that "the earth is moved"] (Isaiah 54:9-10; Matthew 24:37/Genesis 6:1-13; Jeremiah 4:23-27; Ezekiel 38:20; Nahum 1:5-6; Luke 21:25-28; Revelation 6:14; 16:20).
Was Job also prophesying the manifestation of the Sixth Seal at the sounding of the Seventh Trump with earthquakes, tidal waves, the eruption of the Pacific Ring of Fire and lunar volcanoes turning the moon to blood, furious storms and hailstones of a hundredweight? Job 38:4-24 speaks of the Day of the Lord from the Seventh Trump to Armageddon: "If you are an eternal creature, then you never had a beginning, or never can have an end . . ."
"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth, when the morning stars sang together, and the sons of God shouted for joy?" Who were those sons of God that was shouting for joy? Jesus told them that, "I had joy with YOU before the foundation of the world." We are not creatures of time; we're creatures of eternity. "No man can come to Me except My Father draws him. And all that comes to Me, I'll give them Eternal Life, and raise him up at the last days. No one can pluck them from the Father's hand; He give them to Me." How you going to lose? See, you're scared. You're afraid. You'll run around here, and that's one of the best evidences in the world that you haven't been nowhere yet. That's right . . ."
"God hid it from the eyes of the wise and prudent and promised to reveal it to the Sons of God in the last days," when the Sons of God would be made manifest. When God's Sons that rejoiced with Him before the foundation of the world, when the great revelation of the Godhead and things would be brought down in the last days, He would manifest these things to the Sons of God. You know the Scripture teaches that. And here we are. That's the reason that God is opening these things to us [Revelation 10:7]. God is bringing His Sons into manifestation. He's going beyond the limitations of any human knowledge, way into the spiritual revelations and bringing It down. Haven't we been teaching in this Bible, "Here's to him that has wisdom." Not what he learned in some seminary, but what he can learn on his knees before God, and what pleased God to give him: sons of God made manifest" (The Serpent's Seed, p. 11:78, 82-84, 149).
Amos 4:13, "He who formed the mountains, and created the wind, and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12), who turns the morning to darkness (Amos 5:8), and crushes down the mountains beneath His feet, The LORD [Jesus Christ], The God of hosts, is His Name." The Egyptian hieroglyphic for "impossibility" is a man walking on waves; hereby Jesus Christ proved He was God manifest (Matthew 14:25-26).
Job 9:9, "Who darkens, covering up Arcturus [the great Bear, which always revolves about the pole and never sets], Orion [that rises at the stormy period of the year], and the Pleiades (Amos 5:8), and the chambers of the south [the unseen regions of the southern hemisphere, with its own set of stars distinguished from those of the northern hemisphere. The true global structure of the earth is here implied]".
The northern region of the heavens also, with its brilliant constellations clustering round the pole, would naturally attract the eye, and seem to the beholder, who looked up to it through the transparent atmosphere, to be stretched out over the "empty place," that is, the vast void between earth and heaven. That a different mode of representation is found elsewhere, the arch of the heavens being spoken of as reposing on the earth (Isaiah 40:22), is of little consequence. The northern half has a strange share of excellency; more earth, more men, more stars, more day. Hence north is 'up': Australia and the southern hemisphere are 'down under.' Ha, ha . . . "Brother, can you spare me a dime?
Isaiah 40:22, "God sits upon the (Heb.) 'chuwg' circle [circuit, compass, roundness] of the earth." Earth is a sphere. If the earth were a disk, it could only cast a circular shadow for lunar eclipses that occur at midnight. For a lunar eclipse at sunrise or sunset, the earth's shadow would be an ellipse, a line, or a rectangle, depending upon how thick the disk was compared to its diameter.
Job 38:14, "The earth is turned [transformed] as clay into which a seal [signet ring is pressed], and is coloured like a [dyed] garment." Rotating on its axis, the earth which seemed formless in the dark [(Heb.) 'tohu wa-bohu' in its primordial lump before the creation of light], is as it were created anew by the morning sun, taking shape like clay under the seal, impressed with rising hills, spreading dales and beautiful landscapes, clad as a garment with verdure, beautiful birds, flowing streams, clouds and blue skies.
Before the Great Flood the prophet and polymath Enoch understood the earth is globular; he knew its dimensions and its distance from the sun. Isaiah 19:19 prophesied that in Daniel's Seventieth Week, Enoch's Great Pyramid between Upper and Lower Egypt—the geographical center of Egypt and the center of earth's land mass will be "an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border to the Lord." Enoch was familiar with Greek—said to be the oldest living recorded language based on Linear B inscriptions on unbaked clay tablets found at Knossos. The New Testament is written in Greek: the letters Alpha and Omega that signify "Jesus Christ, the same, yesterday, and today, and forever" (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8) form the BOSS on the granite leaf before the Prophet's Chamber guarding the way to the King's Chamber.
The BOSS is the key to understanding the lineal measurements and therefore the mysteries of the Great Pyramid, the Bible in Stone, as the Seventh Seal is the Key to understanding our Bible, for Christ is the mystery of God revealed (John 1:1, 14; Revelation 10:7). Enoch built God's second Bible duplicating His first Bible forever "settled in heaven" by the Witness of the Stars (Psalm 119:86). His third Bible printed in ink on paper declares the same faith. Enoch types YOU, Christ's end time Bride who "will be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48). "He walked with God (Amos 3:3; Ephesians 4:13); and he was not because God took him" (Genesis 5:24; Hebrews 11:5; I Corinthians 15:52).
"As it was in the days of Noah," when the Gentile dispensation ends the granite leaf will fall, sealing the way to the revelation guarding the King's Chamber (Genesis 7:16; Matthew 24:36-51). Luke 13:25-30, "When once the Master of the house has risen, and shut to the door, you will begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us; and He will answer, 'I neither know you [as My elect], nor whence you come . . ." William Branham was the Prophet guarding the way to the King's Chamber situated on the fiftieth level of masonry. One must have a revelation of the Supreme Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and be baptized in His Name before one can enter into "the third pull, the opening of the Word" (The Anointed Ones at the End Time, p. 57:262), and this present holy convocation of the antitype of Israel's Pentecostal feast. Fifty speaks of the Pentecostal Jubilee and our coming into the unity of the faith for the manifestation of the Sons of God and the translation. Those in denominational walled cities and foolish virgins in the circle of this Message who hold to the "letter" of what the tapes say without the "Spirit" to discern what they mean did not rise above the Great Seventh Step at the close of the Laodicean Church Age and cannot come out in the Jubilee (The Feast of the Trumpets, p. 14:106; The Future Home of the Heavenly Bride Groom and the Earthly Bride, p. 44:371-383).
The Prophet said, "And so far as I know, that every vision that He's ever give me has been fulfilled, except the one that I'm a change in my ministry, to where I'm to pray for people in a little place like a little room under a tent, or a big auditorium or something. It looked, to me, like a tent. You remember that, two or three years ago? Most all of it was brought to pass. I was to go down in Mexico, and how it would rain that night and what would take place down there. And He told me my ministry of the First Pull. Remember about catching the little bitty fish, or missing it? Second one was a small fish. But then He told me, "On the Third Pull, don't fail." See? "And don't tell people." I'm always trying to explain what I'm trying to do. He let me know not to tell people what you're doing. Just do what He tells me to do and let it alone" (Present Stage of My Ministry, p. 4:16)?
As early as the fourth century BC, Aristotle provided some of the first evidence to demonstrate "down under" exists, and that the earth is indeed round: ships disappear hull first when sailing over the horizon, earth casts a round shadow on the moon during lunar eclipses. The only shape that consistently has a circular shadow, regardless of its orientation, is a sphere. Different constellations are visible at different latitudes; when one observes the constellations from different parts of the world one soon notes that different stars are visible from different vantage points as Aristotle pointed out 2,500 years ago. This implies that the earth is round and cannot be 'flat.' This is why ships of "the Queen's Navee" had a crow's nest high above deck. If the earth were flat, there would be no advantage to being above the deck.
Another argument involves the stars that are visible in the northern and southern parts of the sky. The North Star lies within one degree of the north celestial pole, the direction in space to which the earth's axis points. As the earth rotates each day, the stars, the sun, and the moon appear to spin around the north celestial pole, so the north celestial pole remains fixed in the sky. The north celestial pole makes an angle with the northern horizon. We call this angle the altitude of the north celestial pole. Since the North Star is so close to the north celestial pole, we can approximate the altitude of the north celestial pole with the North Star's altitude.
The altitude of the North Star is noticeably higher in the sky at northern locations than it is at southern locations. For example, the North Star is much higher in the sky in the northern United States and Canada than it is in Florida, as anyone who pays attention on a trip, can attest. This can happen only if north-south motion is along an arc. This is further underscored by other considerations. There is a region around the North Star in which the stars do not rise or set but are continually up and appear to go in circles around the north celestial pole. We call these circumpolar stars. The region of circumpolar stars is larger at northern locations than in southern locations. Likewise, there is a circumpolar region below the southern horizon whose stars are always below the horizon. The northern circumpolar region, where stars are always visible, is very large, and the southern circumpolar region, whose stars are never visible, is also large. Closer to the earth's equator, the two circumpolar regions are smaller. For example, in South Carolina, about four degrees farther south latitude from Northern Kentucky one can see that the North Star is slightly higher in Northern Kentucky than it was in South Carolina. Furthermore, during winter in South Carolina, the bright star Canopus barely rose above the southern horizon each night; but in Kentucky one can never see Canopus. This is because in Northern Kentucky, Canopus is in the southern circumpolar region where stars are never visible, while in South Carolina it is not. This too shows that the earth is curved in the north-south direction.
Not only is the earth curved in the north-south direction, it also is curved in the east-west direction. There is a time difference of three hours between the east and west coasts of the United States as there is in Australia. That is, the sun rises and sets approximately three hours earlier on the east coast than it does on the west coast. This is easily verified by anyone who has flown between the east and west coasts. Not only will your watch show that there is a time difference of three hours, but your body will notice the difference in time as well. If one drives from one coast to the other, the trip will take several days, so our bodies will not notice the time difference as such. However, our watches reveal that the time has changed. Such rapid transportation was not possible in ancient times, but the ancients could see this time difference a different way. A lunar eclipse obviously must happen simultaneously for everyone on earth, but it will be observed at different times in different locations. For instance, a lunar eclipse may start shortly after sunset in Greece in the eastern Mediterranean. However, in Spain in the western Mediterranean, the moon would already be in eclipse when it rose that night. This means that the lunar eclipse began before sunset/moonrise in Spain, but after sunset/moonrise in Greece. Communication was such in the ancient world that people were aware of this effect. This shows that the earth is curved in the east-west direction. If the earth is curved in both the north-south and east-west direction, the most likely shape of the earth is a sphere.
Job 26:10, "God has compassed [encircled or rounded off] the waters [below] with bounds [the horizon], to the end of light in the darkness of space" [as distinct from the heavenly vault of verse 7]. The line separating the light and dark regions of the heavenly circle that runs along the surface of the waters encircling the earth has as its basis the conception common among the classic nations into the middle ages. The horizon seems to be a circle indicating the globular form of the earth; from an observer's field of view this is the moving place that divides the hemispheres, where one is light the other is dark.
Brother Branham said: "In Genesis when God made the sun first, the moon next, that moon and sun represents Christ and the Church. Just as the sun comes up in its power and glory, and when it goes down, it reflects its light to the moon in the darkness, to give light on the earth while the sun is gone. Jesus, when He left, He went into glory and reflected His Light back on the Church, to give the Church Light of the Gospel until He returns (Oh, my.), and then they'll get married. That'll be wonderful. It'll be one great Light of moon and . . . "The Lamb is the light thereof." They needed no more sun in the City" (Redemption by Power, p. 3:20; Isaiah 60:18-20; Revelation 21:23, 24; 22:5). The prophet drew the moon round. Images of the total lunar eclipse that foreran the visit of Pope Paul VI to Jerusalem from 4-6 January, 1964 also showed the moon to be round (An Exposition of the Seventh Church Age, p. 356-359). The darkness shows the love of the world and the things of world have separated the church from Christ, who is calling the wise and foolish virgins OUT from the world church system "into the unity of the faith for the manifestation of the Sons of God and the translation" (Matthew 25:6; Revelation 18:4; Ephesians 4:13; Romans 8:19).
Joel 2:31, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come" (Isaiah 34:4; Joel 2:10; 3:15-16; Acts 2:20; Revelation 12:8-9). This darkness will be global.
This cannot be a solar eclipse since there will be a full moon at the dispensation change on Nisan 14. The Prophet said, "Anyone knows that the world, positionally, everything is sitting in order for His Coming. "Earthquakes in divers places; the moon is spurting out red blood, or red volcanic all over, covering it," as Jesus said watch for that sign in the last days; "sea roaring, men's hearts failing for fear, and perplexed of time, distress between the nations." Look at the perversion on the move today! Look at it today, forty percent increase in California, of homosexuals, 'natural affections already lost' . . ." (The Presence of God Unrecognized, p. 16:113-114; Luke 21:25-25; II Timothy 3:3; image shows the Pacific Ring of Fire).
Revelation 6:14 and 16:20 state, "every mountain and every island are moved out of their places . . . in the great Day of His wrath." The 'firmament' of frozen gases and water will be fractured and "as it was in the days of Noah" this wicked and adulterous generation will be stoned "with a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent" (Revelation 6:17; 11:19; 16:21).
In Christ is Revealed in His Own Word Brother Branham said, "You can't get accuracy in science now . . . sometime ago, they told us . . . When the Bible said that "he saw four Angels standing on the four corners of the earth," that that couldn't be. The earth was round." But the Bible said, "four corners." Well, now you seen, two weeks ago, or three weeks ago, it's been now, the papers packing this article, they found out that the world is square. How many seen that? Why, sure. See? I got it all copied off, just waiting for somebody to say something".
[In The Seal of God he said, "Revelation seven now, "After these things I saw four angels . . ." (That was the horse riders went forth, after the sixth chapter, and how they went forth, a pale horse, and a black horse, and the red horse, and so forth, which, them riders had been riding the land for a long time [Revelation 6:1-8]) . . .
"I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds . . . that they should not blow upon the earth, nor on the sea, or on any tree" [Revelation 7:1].
"Now watch, the vision John saw first. "I saw four angels standing at the four corners," four places [cardinal points] around the earth, a angel holding the four winds. Angels are messengers. The Bible said so. And the winds are wars and strife. He was holding the four winds here . . ." (p. 32:239). The Ten Virgins, p. 437:59-67, 89, 111-118; The Revelation of the Seven Seals, p. 321:3 – 325:3; COD, Daniel and other teachings, expound how they will form the Judaeo-Roman one world government Jesus refused (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 4:8-10). They are now "Gathering [the kings of the earth and of the whole world to the battle of that great Day of God Almighty" (Revelation 16:14-16)] and we are living between the Sixth and Seventh Vials.
"And they're going to find out, someday, that they're not seeing a hundred and fifty million years of light space either. They're going right around in a circle . . . You're going to find out, one of these days, that when you go to Heaven, you don't fly off somewhere else. You're still right here, too, just in another dimension faster than this."
"Right through this room is coming colour. Every colour, shirt, dress, whatever you got on, is Eternal, laying right on records, going around and around the world. Every time you bat your eyes, it's right on record. Watch, television will prove that . . ." (Christ is Revealed in His Own Word, p. 14:63-64).
"At the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established." The remaining sixty-three of sixty-seven verses make their assertion from an observer's field of view according to his natural senses. These expressions of speech are not a contradiction of the logos of God's Word and nature's laws, but they have been accepted as religious literalism of "the letter without the Spirit".
Let us take Matthew 28:17-20, "When the eleven disciples saw Jesus, they worshipped Him: but some doubted. And Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and in earth has been given to Me. Because this is so, go and Christianize all the nations [Gentiles], baptizing them into the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you all the days, every day, even unto the end of the age. Amen".
Taking the "letter without the Spirit" one asks, if Jesus has "all authority" what became of that Big Fellow God? And if there is more than one "Almighty" language has lost its meaning? But no one was baptized in three Titles until just before the Judaeo-Roman Catholic Church organized at the First Nicaea Council in AD325. Furthermore, "Father" is not a name but an office or title as is "Son," and "Holy Ghost" is not a name but WHAT God is (John 4:24). Throughout the New Testament, that Name [singular], is LORD JESUS CHRIST (Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38-39; 4:12). Unless one is baptized is the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ one is not baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Another figure of speech is the metaphor of Hebrews 4:12, "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." What matters is not what Moses, Isaiah, Jesus or Brother Branham said: for understanding what the Spirit meant is "the mind of Christ in you" (I Corinthians 2:16).
Whether one lives in the northern or in the southern hemisphere the sun will appear to rise and come up in the east and set and go down in the west. When we "rightly dividing the Word" none of the sixty-seven verses indicate we live in a geocentric world or that the earth is flat. "Let us with unvailed face, reflect the glory of the Lord, being changed into His likeness from one degree of glory to another, by the Spirit of the Lord". nl1016.htm
