The Interpretation of the Word of God
Any word is a thought expressed. The Bible is God's thoughts expressed, hence It is called the Word of God. His thoughts, unlike our thoughts, are Eternal and they are real and will come to pass in their designated decreed season and time. All His thoughts He has always had. He is not thinking now or even taking counsel with Himself and will never have a new thought, for He is omniscient.
God is not double-minded, and He knows precisely what He means. He interprets His Word by bringing It to pass. He said, 'a virgin shall conceive', and whereas this was almost 800 years in its fulfillment, the interpretation was the virgin birth. Otherwise God reveals His secrets to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).
God only ever speaks through one individual. It's difficult to find one man He can trust let alone a committee, such as Rome's 'Sacred College of Cardinals in conclave'. And He never spoke to a theologian—they crucified Him on Calvary the first time and are now crucifying Him afresh the second time upon a pulpit of Roman creeds.
At Sinai, God gave assurance He would never speak directly to men but reveal His will through a vindicated prophet. No man has seen God at any time, and no man ever will. We only know Him as we receive His vindicated prophets—for by faith we receive His Word, and the Word comes only to a prophet.
Bible colleges generally do not believe God could send a prophet nowadays. Some denominations even regard John the Baptist as the last prophet. Yet many prophets are recorded in the New Testament, including Jesus Christ who set the five-fold ministry (which includes prophets) in His Church. And the Church was inaugurated, ten days after His ascention.
Frankly, unless we receive the Message of the prophet He promised and has sent in our time, we cannot be restored to the apostolic faith and cannot be born-again. Soon the Holy Spirit will be waved again in the Bride at the manifestation of the sons of God, for the resurrection and translation. It will not be waved by psychology and guesswork but by a clear revelation of the Word God is fulfilling in this generation. Those who fail to receive and become written epistles of the end-time Message will be cast into the tribulation and destroyed from among the elect.
Those who are truly baptized with the Holy Ghost will esteem His Word above their necessary meat and yearn to live by EVERY Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Jesus said He would build His Church upon the rock of Spiritual revelation of the Word, and the gates of hell should not prevail against faith which is the perfect interpretation of the Word of God. strat015.htm
