Israel anticipated Messiah’s first Coming for almost 2,000 years, and although their prophets foretold the signs to anticipate they overlooked the prophecies of Isaiah 40 and Malachi 3 because the misinterpretations of theologians caused them to seek the signs of His third Coming (Isaiah 63:1-6), and the forerunner of His second Coming (John 1:19-28; Malachi 4:5-6). John the Baptist and his Message were rejected and he was martyred by Esau, the Edomite King Herod. Then Jacob crucified his Messiah on the hour, day, month and year prophesied by Moses and Daniel, and true Israel was smitten blind until after the Gentile dispensation (Exodus 12:6; Daniel 9:26; Isaiah 42; Micah 5:3; Romans 11:25).

Like the Hebrew children’s expectations for His first Coming, Christendom has been anticipating Messiah’s second Coming for almost 2,000 years, and despite forewarnings to watch for these and numerous other signs, the world church system is blind to such conspicuous phenomena. Repeating Israel’s tragic error it rejected the forerunner of Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7 for the “strong delusion” of theologians ignorant of His second or ‘parousia’ Coming and seek His second physical return which will be His third Coming with the glorified saints of all Ages after the consummation of life on earth.
