The Third Millennium
We are well into the third millennium since Hosea prophesying in 780BC foretold Israel's restoration to the grace of God (Hosea 6:1-3). "Come, and let us return to the Lord: for He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, and He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth."
I'd like you to follow me with your Bibles open at Daniel chapter 12. In the midst of Daniel's Seventieth Week, Rome will transfer her headquarters to Jerusalem. She will break her covenant with the Jews, cause the animal sacrifices to cease, and exalt the then Devil-incarnate Pope in the new temple that has been erected on the holy mount.
Up until this time, Israel's two prophets will have been preaching with signs and wonders following and baptizing in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. And as they are empowered by God to prophesy 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth, they will be invincible. Sackcloth signifies mourning, for their commission is to call 144,000 elect Israelites to mourn the feast of Atonement wherein "all the house of Israel will know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus whom they crucified, both Lord and Christ." This revelation will cause each elect to separate from all worldly ties and mourn their past sins and those of their forefathers. Jesus said, "If any man comes to Me, and hates not his father, mother, wife, and children, and brothers and sisters, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple" (Luke 14:26; Leviticus 23:26-32; Zechariah 12:9-14). This will be the revelation of Christ's "parousia" to Israel and the new birth of a nation in one day.
Israel's feasts of Leviticus 23 were natural types whose real fulfillment is a Spiritual antitype. For instance the Passover typed Calvary where Jesus Christ became the sacrificial Lamb, substituting His innocent Life to pay sin's price in behalf of you, me, and whomsoever will in Adam's race. He was Adam's Kinsman Redeemer and potentially redeemed all of Adam's seed who lay down their natural life's desires to serve Him.
The feast of Unleavened Bread typed the pure Word of God manifest bodily in Jesus Christ who is the Bread from heaven—loaded with vitamins "F" for Faith and "E" for Eternal Life, vitamin "G+" for Grace, "L" for Love, and "T" for Translation. The wave sheaf offering of the first fruits on the second day of this feast began the feast of Pentecost and also typed Christ, who had been waved before the Father and approved in that His life was accepted as an atonement for the accumulated sins of the Old Testament saints and "raised for our justification" (Romans 4:25). He was resurrected in glorified form on this day, becoming the first fruits of the Old Testament saints resurrected in glorified bodies after Him.
The feast of Pentecost types the harvest of the first fruits of those who receive the atonement; the New Testament Church who are washed in Christ's blood and born of His Spirit. We live under the antitype of the Pentecostal feast today, called the Gentile dispensation so that "when the day of Pentecost is fully come" again, the Bride of all ages will be translated to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb in the Sky.
The feast of Trumpets types the ministry of Israel's two prophets anointed with the offices of the Spirit that rested on Moses and Elijah. We find them in Daniel 12:5 and Matthew 17:1-8 where Moses types the resurrected saints; and Elijah types the end-time Bride who will be translated without death. In Zechariah 4:11-14 we find them represented as two "olive trees," or bearers of the Spirit; olive oil was used to fuel lamps and symbolizes the Spirit which is the Power that gives us Spiritual Light or revelation. Finally, in Matthew 24:31 and Revelation 11, these two witnesses are described as angels or messengers who begin their prophetic ministry at the sound of the Seventh or Great Trump that announces the day of the Lord, closes the Gentile dispensation and gathers Israel's elect to their atonement by the revelation of the feast of Trumpets.
Under the Law the feast of Trumpets called adult Israelites to the Day of Atonement prior to the feast of Tabernacles. The ministry of these prophets will commence after the first resurrection and translation of the Gentile Bride. They will point an election of Israel to the Law whence they fell, by revealing the mystery of the Seven Trumpets of Revelation, showing why Israel was chastised through the past 2,000 years. These Trumpet plagues befall Israel under the first six Seals because she rejected the Gospel Trumpet of each Church Age. They are the spiritual antitype of natural plagues that struck Egypt when God was calling Israel for the first time. Their revelation will distinguish the true Church from the false by revealing the Seven Vials. When finally they recognize Jesus Christ as their Savior, they will recognize the true Church is His Wife (Revelation 19:6-9).
We have already explained how Israel's Day of Atonement types the new birth of the nation—all 144,000 of them—in one day. The feast of Tabernacles types the completion of the harvest of souls over the six days in which man has labored against sin. The seventh day which Adam and Eve never did complete because of the fall (Genesis 2:17) becomes the thousand year honeymoon for Christ and His Bride on earth. After that is the general resurrection and judgment wherein the "saved" will be granted into eternal Life, and the lost cast into the Lake of Fire where their souls and all memory of them will eventually be annihilated: then comes the eighth day which is Eternity and the renewed heavens and earth.
The Bible is illustrated throughout in shadows and types. So if we can understand the natural type, we should recognize its Spiritual antitype in due season.
We encounter Israel's two prophets in Revelation 11:4-7, "These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the Lord of all the earth. [As in the vision on Mount Transfiguration they stood before the glorified Jesus who is "Lord of all the earth" (Matthew 17:1-9)]. And if any man will hurt them, Fire proceeds from their mouth, and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must be killed in this manner."
This will be their 'third pull' or spoken Word of God as when Elijah cursed those impudent children [who represent faithless Israelis and today's apostate Israelites], and two she bears tore forty-two of them [as Russia and Iran will tear the non-Semitic, anti-Semitic self-styles Jews in the 'hot stage' of World War III (II Kings 2:23-25; Zechariah 14:2)].
"These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: [the rain of the Holy Spirit will not quicken Israel to new birth until after the martyrdom of the two prophets]: and have power over waters [hostile forces] to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will."
At this time mercy is over, "He who is filthy will remain filthy." This is the great and dreadful Day of the Lord and judgment. This is the Holy Ghost Fire of God's manifested Word as when Elijah called upon God to shut the heavens and it rained not for three years and six months, then called for rain and God answered (I Kings 17:1—18:45; James 5:17). And when Moses was delivering Israel from natural Egypt the first time, he threw his staff on the ground and it became a snake; poured water on the ground and it became blood; he called for frogs, he called for lice, he called for flies. What he said God did, for Moses was under pre-eminence to the Word (Exodus 7-12). Soon he will be calling Israel out from the moral and religious abominations of Jerusalem which Jesus calls "spiritual Sodom and Egypt" (Revelation 11:8). Ezekiel's revelation was much the same (Ezekiel 23).
"And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them." But until they have fulfilled the Word of the Lord these men are untouchable. Not only that, but three and a half days after they've been martyred by Rome, when everyone is rejoicing over their death and exchanging victory gifts as is Roman custom, the Holy Spirit will restore them to life, and the public will see them caught up to heaven in a Cloud. This Pillar of Cloud has quickening power! (Revelation 11:9-13).
Revelation 11:13, "The same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and in the earthquake seven thousand men were killed: and the remnant were afraid, and gave glory to the God of heaven".
The Bible is not written in chronological order like a newspaper so we find the account of Revelation 10:1—11:13 between the Sixth and the Seventh Trumpets is in parenthesis, and in order to follow the strict chronology of God's dealings with Israel we should read Revelation 11:14 after Revelation 9:21.
Revelation 11:14, "The Second Woe is past; and, behold, the Third Woe comes quickly." The Second Woe happened in World War II when earth was struck by blockbusters and atomic bombs, so this verse takes us back to 1945. Sixty years later, in spite of the efforts of George II, Tony Blair and John Howard, World War III has not developed to the "hot" stage, and it cannot until earthquakes sink Los Angeles and split the Mount of Olives. Then it will be precipitated spontaneously by political Zionists, the Muslim people, and Russia, while the events of Revelation 11:7-13 are still about four years into the future. The Third Woe is Revelation 12:12-17. So it appears that this earthquake, like Noah's Flood, may well be man-made—perhaps using scalar technology (HAARP) or nuclear power.
Three Woes were announced in Revelation 8:13 after the Fourth Trumpet Judgment upon the Israelite people. These Woes are the Investigation Judgments upon the world for failing to walk in the Light of the Messages of the last three angels to the Church: justification, sanctification and the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Revelation 14:6-12). They manifest after each of these Trumpets. "Woe" means distress or grief as a woman in travailing in birth. Earth is distressed in three which World Wars Jesus called "sorrows." Indeed "the whole creation groans and labors in birth pains" waiting for the translation of the Bride and earth's fierey purification for the millennium (Romans 8:22-23).
The First Woe manifested under the Fifth Trumpet as World War I. It was sent because after almost 500 years, Luther's Message of justification by grace through faith was unreceived by the Roman church. Revelation 14:6-7, "I saw another angel [Martin Luther] fly in mid-heaven, having the everlasting Gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters".
Revelation 9:12, "One Woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter".
The Second Woe manifested under the Sixth Trumpet as World War II. Revelation 10:1-11:13 is in parenthesis or brackets, not in chronological order. This plague was sent because Wesley's Message of sanctification by the Blood was not received by Rome or her daughter churches. Revelation 14:8 "And there followed another angel [John Wesley], saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." The Second Woe was a far greater labor pain than submarines, air power or mustard gas. In World War II Earth was smitten with blockbusters, napalm and atomic bombs.
Revelation 11:14, "The Second Woe is past; and, behold, the Third Woe comes quickly." This brings us back to where we were reading:
The Third Woe is sent because the Message of the baptism with the Holy Ghost and Brother Branham's ministry of restoration warning men to flee into Christ's 'parousia' has been rejected. Revelation 14:9-12, "The third angel [William Branham] followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the Presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the [144,000 tribulation] saints that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus". And it goes on to describe the Bride's preview of the martyrdom of the 144,000 under the Seventh Trumpet and Sixth Seal.
With the revival of the state of Israel and revivals among all groups in Christian circles (Luke 21:29) by the three Messages of the Reformation plus Christ's parousia under the Fourth Seal, "This gospel of the kingdom has been preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and now the end can come." Matthew 24:14 is fulfilled; the sign of the end was the revival of the Israel state in 1948, and revivals among the churches during the evangelistic crusades of the 1950s. As Jesus foretold in Matthew 10:23, "You will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of man comes." This has also come to pass for the Son of man returned in 1963 and was rejected by the Gentiles (Revelation 3:20; Romans 11:32).
The Seventh Trumpet will sound the start of Daniel's Seventieth Week: Revelation 11:15-19, "And the Seventh Trumpet angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, who sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who is, and was, and is to come; because You have taken to You Your great power, and have reigned."
[Christ is able to take His great power and reign because His Bride is united to Him in love and He can now turn to redeem His servant nation by revealing Himself as their Messiah and King].
"And the nations were angry, and Your wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should give reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Your Name, small and great; and should destroy them who destroy the earth. (Daniel 12:1).
"And the temple of God was opened in heaven, [the revelation of Christ's 'parousia' to Israel], and there was seen in His temple the ark of His Testament [the Word, signifying God's favor toward Israel]: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail." These will be the Judgments under the Sixth Seal and Seventh Vial with Armageddon impending.
Revelation 12:12, "Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you citizens of heaven. [Ourselves and the glorified saints of all Ages, celebrating the Wedding Supper of the Lamb in the Sky]. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the Devil is come down to you [after 6,000 years of accusing the Brethren before the Lord (Revelation 12:10)], having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time."
In rejecting the Message of the three "special angels" of Revelation 14:6-12, men have also rejected the Holy Spirit, and at the Seventh Trumpet, Satan will be cast down to earth and the Third Woe will bring Earth labor pains in World War III, culminating in her purification for the millennium.
In Revelation 16:13-14, between the Sixth and Seventh Vials, three "unclean spirits come out of the mouth of the Dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. These are the spirits of Fascism, Nazism, and Communism as expounded in the seventh angel's Message.
Fascism is any nationalist, totalitarian movement or government. The word is derived from the Latin, "fasces"—a bundle of elm rods bound together by a red strap around an ax. A symbol of religious jurisprudence distilled into a single infallible sovereign or Pontifex Maximus and borne before Roman magistrates. It signified the power of life over limb possessed by the Caesar. If the fasces is bound with laurel, like the pair on the wall behind the Speaker in the US House of Representatives, it signifies Caesarian military power. This symbol is incorporated in the Seal of the US Senate, and it perfectly symbolizes the European Union in which the nations of Europe are subordinate to common statute laws decided and imposed by an unelected dictatorship in Brussels.

This ax is the origin of the term "Axis Powers" for the fascist countries in World War II. Mussolini adopted this emblem in 1919. Fascism's key features were absolute primacy of the State, its power and growth as the centre of life and history. It requires submission of the individual to the unified will of the people as expressed by the single party State, with strict regimentation of all aspects of national life and entire obedience to a usually charismatic leader who embodies the State. This political movement governed Italy from 1922-1943; Germany from 1933-1945, Spain from 1939-1975, Japan, Yugoslavia and other countries at various times.
Nazism is the German form of Fascism, which was founded in 1919. It also proclaims itself the implacable enemy of liberalism and stressed subordination of the individual to the State. Its appeals for national aggrandizement and belief in the superiority of the Aryan race were accompanied by a strident anti-Semitic rhetoric designed to attract support from the working class.
Although Nazism was drafted by "right" Hegelian, Professor Baron von Ritter, both Fascism and Nazism were devices of the Roman world in its warfare against the power of the "Jew" for world hegemony. World War I spelt the demise of the monarchies of the old Roman Empire and their replacement by Hegelian sham democracies whose political parties would be easily controlled by the power of the "Jewish" bankers, media, etc.
Throughout the times of the Gentiles the Money Power has planned, managed and financed both sides of the conflict, which has seen nominal Christians slaughtering nominal Christians. It matters not to the financier which side is victorious because International Law does not permit nations to repudiate debt so either way the cause of the 'Hidden Hand' is advanced.
Fascism thrives today in Great Britain, the EU, Australia, Israel, the United States and other elected dictatorships. After World War II, the 'Hidden Hand' that controls the top positions in banking, industry, government, etc., put into effect a policy which would lead ultimately to a United States of Europe.
Rome's absolute power is most effectively exercised through kings or dictators. Republicanism, democracy, and Communism are anathema to Rome because they do not honor traditional authority but obey the Money Power, and in rare instances the will of the people.
Communism, a Utopian ideal, is theoretically a political system or social organization based on common property or equal distribution of wealth, it is the concept of a classless society in which the means of production, distribution and exchange are owned by the community as a whole and from which any traces of a coercive state have disappeared. In truth, Communism is a system of slavery controlled from the top by foreign international bankers. As we have explained, Fascism and Nazism were associated with Rome, but modern Communism is Jewish. Communism is Talmudic through and through and works under the Edomite red flag of the House of Rothschild.
Primitive Communism, it would seem, had its beginnings under the Roman Church when in 1180, the wealthy priest of Liege, Belgium, Lambert le Begue founded a commune for widows and children of Crusaders on his property surrounding the hospital and church of St. Christopher. Known as Beguines, these people were subject only to obligations of chastity and good works.
[However, Llorente (History of the Inquisition sec. III, ch. 88, art. 2, ed. 1817) relates that when he was secretary to the Inquisition, a Capuchin (i.e. Franciscan friar) was brought before that tribunal who directed a community of Beguines, and had seduced nearly all of them by persuading them that, by yielding to his solicitations, they were not leaving the road to perfection. He told each of them, in the confessional, that he had received from God a singular favor. "Our Lord," he said, "has deigned to show himself to me in the sacrament, and has said to me: 'Almost all the souls that thou dost direct here are pleasing to me, but especially such a one (the Capuchin named her to whom he spoke.) She is already so perfect that she has conquered every passion except carnal desire, which torments her very much. Therefore, wishing virtue to have its reward, and that she should serve me tranquilly, I charge thee to give her a dispensation, but only to be made use of by thee. She need speak of it to no confessor; that would be useless, as with such a dispensation she cannot sin.'"
"Out of seventeen Beguines, of which the community was composed, the intrepid Capuchin gave the dispensation to thirteen, who were discreet for some length of time; but at last one of them fell ill, expected to die, and discovered everything, declaring that she had never been able to believe in the dispensation, but that she had profited by it."
"I remember," said Llorente, "having said to him: 'But Father, is it not astonishing that this singular virtue should have belonged exactly to the thirteen young and handsome ones, and not at all to the other four who were ugly and old?' He coolly replied: 'The Holy Spirit inspires where it listeth'."
After the death of Lambert in 1187, the movement spread rapidly to the Nederlands, France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. A similar association called "Beghards" emerged for men in 1220. But heresies crept into both groups and they became perverted into mendicants, the origin of the word "beggar." There are still some communities of Beguines].
Many independent communes were established by church groups in the USA. The New Harmony colony was founded in Indiana in 1815. William Keil founded Bethel in Missouri in 1844, and Aurora in Oregon in 1855. They practiced their own form of Christianity and both were liquidated after his death in 1877. Others included Bishop Hill, Brook Farm and the Bruderhof communities.
However, the longest-operating commune was the totalitarian Communist slave state established by Jesuits in Paraguay in 1609. Guarani Indians of both sexes and all ages were put to forced labor for the mission. The Indians did not have any personal property. All produce was gathered in communal storehouses. Whatever food and clothing the Indians needed, as well as the general needs of the commune, were distributed from these. It is interesting to note that primarily Central European Jesuits of Jewish stock were chosen as leaders of the Paraguay missions. These slave ghettos continued until 1843. Adam Weishaupt built the modern Illuminati using the totalitarian and theocratic rule which the Jesuits enforced in Paraguay as his prototype. Thus Communism may also be said to have "come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet".
Through Fascism, Nazism and Communism, Satan consolidates all religious, physical and demonic power, and returns to the bottomless pit with his followers by the key of error and deceit with which he usurped the influence of the Word.
The plague of the Sixth Vial with which the world is accursed today is Judaeo-Communism and the Judaeo-Communist United Nations Organization (Isaiah 8:9-13; Amos 3:3; II Corinthians 6:14-18). Jesus Christ foretold in Revelation 3 that Judaeo-Communism would be the spirit pervading society in the end-time, so when Rome breaks her covenant with the Jewish usurers after three and a half years, her erstwhile partners will also display their true colours by siding with Communist Russia to destroy Rome and her US image.
Contrast such unrepentant so-called Jews marked under the Sixth Trumpet (Revelation 9:20-21) with the 144,000 elect descendants of the Patriarchs. God told Daniel, "Shut up the Words and seal the Book to the end of the three and a half years ministry of the Hebrew prophets." Only then will I "revive Israel and raise up 144,000 that they may live in My sight" as Hosea foretold. They will "do exploits. . . Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand" (Daniel 12:10).
In this chapter the prophet sees Christ dressed in linen as in 10:5, only here he is accompanied by the coming Moses and Elijah whom Jesus calls "witnesses" (Deuteronomy 19:15; Revelation 11) because they witness His oath in answer to their question, "How long will it be to the end (indicated in Daniel 11:45—12:1) of these extraordinary sufferings and judicial punishments" under the times of the Gentiles and the Seven Trumpets of Revelation when Michael shall deliver and resurrect Israel's 144,000 elect?
Daniel 12:7, "And I heard the Man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when He held up His right hand and His left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; [1,260 days]: and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished".
Speaking of Daniel 9:27 and Revelation 12:7-17, Brother Branham said, "There'll be . . . two anointed prophets like Elijah and Moses . . . And they'll bring great curses, after they have seen that they have consolidated, and Rome has broke its covenant [that prince] in the middle of this seventieth week . . . with Israel, and that'll cause the abomination to begin to scatter. And there will be the great flood, when the Gentile remnant, the sleeping virgins. . . The dragon [Rome] spurted water out of his mouth to make war with the remnant of the woman's seed that keep the commandments of God. Rome will do that."
"A confederation of church will consolidate them together and bring the Jews into this confederation, and bring them back to their own temple worship again in the THUS SAITH THE LORD out of the Bible, and they will have their own church."
[Does such blasphemy strike a chord in the circle of this Message—Ed]?
". . . when they establish the temple worship, the Church will be gone. God will be dealing with the Jews as a nation. And then when they are brought into this confederation, Rome will break it in the middle of the seventieth year—three and one half years he'll break that covenant with them, and cause the abomination that maketh desolation to spread to the consummation. Then he'll take both Protestant and Jew and persecute them . . ." (The Sixfold Purpose of Gabriel's Visit, p. 80:139-141; An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, p. 41).
Referring to Daniel 9:27 and 12:1-13 Brother Branham said, "The sacrifice will come back into the city when the temple is rebuilt. And this prince that's to come in the middle of this week will break his covenant and do away with this sacrifice as I said, he'll scatter it, and what he'd do lasts on till the consummation."
"And notice the overspreading of abomination to make desolation, the overspreading of abomination . . . What is abominations? "Filthiness." See? To make desolate, what is that? "To do away with." The overspreading of this to do away with that. See? The overspreading of that Roman power to conquer all the sleeping virgins, Jews and all. . . We'll all be Roman or we won't be nothing. He'll break his covenant in the middle of the week."
"Overspreading of the abomination. . . If it was the abomination in Jesus' time when Rome come over there with their propaganda, it'll be Rome again it'll be abomination again to the church. . . To make desolate, and shall continue unto the consummation. . . What will he do? He'll continue it on unto the consummation. That's the end" (The Seventy Weeks of Daniel, p. 127:177-179; Luke 21:24).
When the predictions so far given have come to pass, the elect Israelites shall have been "purged" by the foretold trials and by the Light of these prophecies enabled to correlate the "signs of the time" (Matthew 24:29-51; Zechariah 4; 12-14) and be born-again. But the wicked will not understand, and rush on to their own ruin.
The ministry of Israel's two prophets who reconfirm or "seal up the vision and prophecy" lasts just 1,260 days. Thereafter the incarnate pope, having broken his covenant, will arrest and execute them. Daniel could understand the 1,260-days but he could not quite grasp "what will be the final end of the last of these wondrous things," the consummation?
By way of explanation God quotes two further periods of 1,290 and 1,335 days. The latter has a blessing corresponding with Revelation 6:11, in which He told the Fifth Seal Israelites, "rest yet for a little season until your fellowservants also and their brethren, who should be killed as you were, should be fulfilled." And also Revelation 14:1-5, 13, which speaks of the new birth of the 144,000 as a nation in "one day" (Isaiah 66:8), and the blessing of those who are in the Lord and martyred thenceforth.
Daniel 12:11-12, "From the time the continual daily sacrifice [revived by religious "Jews"] is taken away, and the abomination that makes the temple desolate is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who is steadfast to the end, and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty five days" (Matthew 23:39).
This abomination will be the forcing of the mark of the beast—Roman Catholic doctrine as symbolized by the golden cup in Rome's hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication (impure doctrine) she has made all nations to drink, and which after the martyrdom of the 144,000 she must drink in double measure (Revelation 17:4; 18:3,6). This will take place when she is forsaken of her children and her erstwhile companions turn Communistic and bomb both the Vatican and the United States from the face of the earth. Thereafter Armageddon will break out and destroy all life on earth.
The chronology of these verses is not revealed to me. They meant little to Daniel who understood only the future history of wars between the "Jews" and the four Gentile world empires. And they have nothing to do with the Bride. No doubt understanding would come were we able to align them with the Hebrew feasts of the Day of Atonement and Tabernacles. bb000806.htm
