Our feature article, "You are dead, hid with Christ in God" was completed on Nisan 14, Rome's 'Good Friday.' This date marked the terminus of the Hebrew dispensation two thousand years ago and will mark the final year of the Christian dispensation. Easter is an unscriptural pagan festival unrecognized by the apostles and not observed by the early Church. To conciliate the pagans to nominal Christianity the Judaeo-Roman Universal church assimilated Pagan festivals. In these last days the Lord sent a prophet to restore the apostolic faith, finish the mystery of God, and call the wise and foolish virgin out from Rome and her apostate (once) Protestant daughter churches into the unity of the faith for the manifestation of the Sons of God and the translation.

Christians are dead to the world and the things of the world and alive to Christ the King Who has established His Kingdom in our heart. He is master of our soul, enabling us to bring the ten senses of our flesh and mortal spirit under pre-eminence whereby you and I are dead, and our life is hid with Christ in God so the world does not see us, they see Christ living and acting His Life behind the veil of our flesh. Like "Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, gathered together at Jerusalem" (Acts 4:5-14). This is the Token on display, your hope of glory.

US wants to enable Netanyahu to 'Officially' occupy West Bank

April 17, 2019 — Israel is using its influence over the US establishment to try to impose the "Deal of the Century" to enable Prime Minister Netanyahu to officially occupy the West Bank. This would violate the Oslo agreement signed in 1993 and legalise all illegal Israeli settlements in Oslo-designated zone C of the occupied West Bank. The countries directly concerned in the "deal" (Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and Syria) are unwilling to give away any part of their territories. However, Israel has managed to create enough noise around this "deal" to distract the world from its doings in Palestine, where it is in essence already implementing the "Deal of the Century." The Israelis won't wait for the results of US negotiations in the Middle East.

President Donald Trump seemed indifferent to Palestinian President ad interim Mahmoud Abbas's comments that the US is "no longer viable as a partner and unfit as a mediator for any peace talks between Palestine and Israel," in response to Trump's gift to Israel of what doesn't belong to him: Jerusalem. The Palestinians see the US playing the role of judge and executioner, totally biased in favour of Israel–and disrespectful of United Nations' resolutions.

Palestine was lost when Yasser Arafat signed the Oslo agreement. He believed Israel would abide by the agreement, particularly regarding the West Bank in zones B and C. Israel disregarded Oslo and the Wye River Memorandum, giving the Palestinians less than 2% of the 13% of the land granted in both agreements . . . Full story: ejmagnier.com

Julian Assange & the Agenda for Global War

April 17, 2019 — By the end of a decade of war, opposition to the US involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan had spread to sectors of the military and civilian establishment. Documents were leaked and critics were encouraged to hand over reports revealing war crimes and the toll in human lives. WL, under Assange's leadership, were the recipients of hundreds of thousands of documents which poured in from military analysts, contractors and civilian office holders disgusted by official and mass media lies which perpetrated and covered up war crimes.

As the wars dragged on, and new wars were launched in Libya and Syria and liberal Congress-members were impotent and unwilling to expose the Obama/Clinton regimes' lies and the falsifications accompanying the murder of President Gaddafi. WikiLeaks and JA publicized documents which revealed how the US planned, implemented and fabricated Humanitarian Wars to 'save people' . . . by bombing them!

The major networks and prestigious press followed the official line, but WL documents discredited them. The Pentagon, the CIA, the Presidency and their Congressional supporters panicked—as their covert activities came to light . . . As WL message gained legitimacy, Washington turned to the judiciary in search of rulings to muzzle their critics. Free speech was criminalized. But WL continued. New and more critical whistleblowers came on the scene; Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden, William Binney and others provided new devastating evidence of Washington's gross distortions and fabrications regarding civilian deaths . . . Fake Charge against Julian Assange proves US Government has no Integrity

April 15, 2019 — Let's be sure that we understand that Assange is not charged with anything related to Russia or Russiagate or even with breaking a law. Assange is charged with being in a conspiracy with Manning "to commit computer intrusion." The charge is not that Assange succeeded in hacking a government computer and obtaining classified information. It merely says that Assange discussed the possibility with Manning and had an intention to hack a computer. Most likely, even this non-crime is an invention of prosecutors instructed to indict Assange in the absence of any evidence. It is all that they could come up with.

It is impossible to respect the indictment. It is the product of evil, and the evil indictment is a direct assault on the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Those who have brought this false charge have violated their oath to protect the Constitution from enemies abroad and at home. It is the enemies at home that we have to be concerned about as it is these enemies who have power over us.

If the US government had any evidence that Assange actually hacked a government computer, he would be charged with that. But as there is no evidence of an actual crime, the corrupt American prosecutors and a stupid and manipulated grand jury rolled out the conspiracy charge . . . He is being framed up on a false nonsense charge because the US government in order to protect its own criminality is moving to destroy the First Amendment of the US Constitution. Notre Dame Fire

April 16, 2019 — A catastrophic fire engulfed 12th century Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, gutting and destroying the landmark's spire and stunning France and the world . . . Flames that began in the early evening burst through the roof . . . and engulfed the spire, which collapsed, quickly followed by the roof . . . the iconic towers had been saved from the blaze . . . the cathedral's structure was "saved from total destruction" . . . fire fighters stopped the flames from spreading to the north tower belfry. US and NATO Ongoing Support for Neo-Nazis in Ukraine

April 16, 2019 — Over the past few months, NATO's Jens Stoltenberg has continued outlining his organization's "recognition" for Ukraine "to become a member of NATO." Two weeks ago Stoltenberg pronounced publicly in Washington that "we work with Ukraine to help Ukraine move forward towards its transatlantic integration . . . we have trust funds, we have training, we have different kinds of activities which we are helping Ukraine".

Comments like this are also a well-aimed provocation of nearby Russia. It is the equivalent of the Soviet Union having announced they had "trust funds" and "activities" occurring in Mexico, with the ultimate aim of luring America's neighbour into the Moscow-led Warsaw Pact. Any such coercion by the Soviets would surely have drawn a swift military response from Washington.

It can occasionally be instructive to cast one's eyes over a map of Europe, and a quick glance at the Ukraine reveals a long and winding border to the east with Russia; approximately 1,000 kilometres altogether no less. The Florence Declaration: Creation of a 'NATO-Exit' International Front

April 11, 2019 — NATO is not an Alliance. It is an organisation under the command of the Pentagon, and its objective is the military control of Western and Eastern Europe. US bases in the member countries of NATO serve to occupy these countries by maintaining a permanent military presence which enables Washington to influence and control their policies and prevent genuine democratic choices.

NATO is a war machine which works for the interests of the United States, with the complicity of the major European power groups, staining itself with crimes against humanity. The war of aggression waged by NATO in 1999 against Yugoslavia paved the way for the globalization of military interventions, with wars against Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and other countries, in complete violation of international law. These wars are financed by the member countries, whose military budgets are increasing continually to the detriment of social expenditure, in order to support colossal military programmes like that of the US nuclear programme which costs 1,200 billion dollars.

In violation of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, the USA is deploying nuclear weapons in five non-nuclear NATO States, under the false pretext of the "Russian menace." By doing so, they are risking the security of Europe. To exit the war system which is causing more and more damage and exposing us to increasing dangers, we must leave NATO, affirming our rights as sovereign and neutral States . . . Western Intel. Network threatens Austria with Christchurch Massacre unless it 'unfriends Russia'

April 10, 2019 — Here's what has actually just happened: the para-legal 'Club de Berne'—Europe's 'intelligence community gods' by the looks of things—planted that story in Der Standard, thereby sending a message to Vienna's overt government that 'we could do a Christchurch to you too if you don't do as we want regarding containing Russia'. Italy's intelligence services are not treated the same way because they are controlled by PM Giuseppe Conte rather than the "Russia-tied" Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, while US spies are "too important" to shut out and are considered autonomous from President Donald Trump, Der Standard made sure to note. Someone clearly did not get the Mueller memo about Russiagate being a conspiracy theory.

Did you get all that? They have compromised Conte (which isn't surprising given that he was explicitly named as a compromise leader when the 'Club' threw a fit at Italy's election result last year) and they're operating against Trump's wishes (which we already know because they sicced the Russiagate witch-hunt on him). And they have free use of the biggest media outlets in their target country through which to issue terror threats and foreign policy ultimatums against that country's government . . . Like sin eternal Life is free but it is not cheap and both are permanent. "You shall give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe" (Exodus 21:23-25). God's law of redemption requires "life for life . . . for the wages of sin is death . . . and without shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor remission of the due and earned punishment for sins" (Genesis 3:21; Romans 6:23; Hebrews 9:22). We were born in sin—unworthy to redeem even our own life, but God made a way to balance the books. What works cannot merit was achieved by grace through faith in the vicarious death and resurrection of our near KINSMAN Redeemer, the last Adam. Eternal Spirit cannot die but spoken into flesh like the first Adam, only born of virgin without human intercourse, God both died and rose again: "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord . . . bringing many sons unto glory" (John 2:19; Acts 5:30; Romans 6:23).

In the Garden of Eden Satan incarnate the Serpent, a handsome giant manlike creature without a soul, this "domestic beast" served Adam and Eve. Jews are conscious of the "original sin": the Babylonian Talmud views non-Jews as "beasts with two legs G_d made in human form to serve Jews . . . "the best of the Goyim should be killed" (Bereshith 25a; Kiddushin 66c; Soferim 15, Rule 10)! Goyim is a term of contempt for non-Jews and Negroes as inferior, the progeny of Eve's illegitimate son Cain, the seed of the incarnate Serpent. The Serpent did not confront Adam who as God's spoken Word could not be deceived on the Word. He approached Eve who was not spoken but made from Adam's rib after creation was finished and could be deceived; he enquired why she and her husband did not obey God's commandment to "Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it"?

When Eve confessed she did not know how to "multiply," the Serpent enticed her to forsake God's prohibition and reason by her natural senses: the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life (Job 31:7-8; James 1:15). "And the woman coveted the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil at so dire a price to herself and to all of her children when she saw that it was good for [gnosis or spiritual] food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise [or spiritually advanced], she partook of its fruit, and taught her husband to partake with her. And the eyes of them both were opened [to the mystery of procreation], and they knew that they were naked; and [having attained to a moral insight] they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons to cover their genitals [not their mouths]" (Genesis 3:6-7; I Timothy 2:11-15).

Genesis 3:13-15, "And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this that you have done? The woman said, The Serpent outwitted me, and I did eat. And the Lord God said to the Serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all [domestic] animals, and above every wild beast of the field; upon your belly you shall go [whereas previously he had walked erect], and dust shall you eat all the days of your life: and I will put enmity [hatred] between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her seed; it shall [mortally] bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel".

Genesis 3:16-19, [Eve did not eat an apple, she had intercourse with the Serpent and bore his son, Cain]. "God said, I will greatly multiply your grief and suffering in pregnancy and the pangs of child-bearing; with spasms of distress you shall bring forth children; and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you (Isaiah 66:7; Romans 7:2; Ephesians 5:24; I Timothy 2:11-15; I Peter 3:6). He told Adam, Because you have hearkened to the voice of your wife, and eaten of the tree, of which I commanded, saying, You shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow you will eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles shall it bring forth and you shall eat the herb of the field; in the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground; for out of it you were taken: for dust you are, and to dust you will return. And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living".

Since falling from immortality, rather than subduing the earth and having dominion over every living thing, man became subject to nature and to the law of sin and death which had already secretly commenced in all life.

Genesis 4:1-5, "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived and bore Cain (I John 3:12), and said, I have gotten a man [even the Lord, the Seed, the Deliverer. Cain means 'possession' or 'acquired one' as in God redeeming His people. After nine months Eve was still deceived, believing her firstborn was Jesus Christ, "the Seed of the woman . . . the beginning of the creation of God" (Genesis 3:15; Revelation 3:14). Eve saw herself "as God," a pro-creator of the 'new man,' Cain (Genesis 3:5). Had she waited Eve would have born Jesus]. "And she continued bearing and bore his half-brother Abel [which means 'nothingness' or 'vanity.'] Abel was a keeper of sheep for clothing and sacrifice but Cain was a tiller of the ground."

"And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought God an offering from the fruit of the ground. And Abel, offered the best firstlings of his flock. The Lord looked favourably upon Abel and to his offering: but unto Cain and to his offering He turned away." Cain's sacrifice exhibited his carnal works with intent to earn God's favour by right of debt (Romans 4:4). By faith Abel recognized the necessity of substituting innocent life for the guilty, a type of Jesus Christ as God demonstrated when He slew the innocent lambs in Eden and placed the first couple under their blood until such time as their real KINSMAN Redeemer should meet redemption's price with His Own Blood.

The 'original sin' was bestiality: two races were in Eve's womb, her first-born was Cain, the son of the Serpent. Cain and his race are not in the Book of Life which is Adam's genealogy: Jesus Messiah was the last Adam, He was not the last Cain (Luke 3:23-38). Eve's second child was Cain's half-brother Abel, the son of Adam. Despite the revelation of the vindicated prophets Moses, Isaiah, Jesus and Paul, Islam does not believe in 'original sin,' yet simple math and commonsense require a first before there can be a second and subsequent sins.

Miscegenation is accursed of God Whose Law of Reproduction requires everything bring forth after its own kind (Genesis 1:11, 25; 11:9). Genesis 6:1-7, "It came to pass, when Cain's race began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born, the sons of Adam's race found them agreeable to their sensuous nature and took any woman they chose. And the Lord said, My Spirit will not always strive with the Adamites for they are flesh [like Cain]: yet their days will be a hundred and twenty years [then I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth]. There were giants in the earth in those days; and especially after that [on this side of the Flood], when the sons of God cohabited with the daughters of men who bore them children—mighty men of Cain's antediluvian race that lived before these sensual [and genocidal] mesalliances, men of violent deeds. And God saw the increase and universal predominance of evil through miscegenation [encouraged nowadays by the deceitful euphemism, 'multiculturalism' (Matthew 24:37)]. The wickedness of man's deeds had not only become great in the earth, but the phantasies of deeds imagined daylong in his heart were wholly evil [thanks in measure by print media, Hollywood and television filth, pornography, violent computer games, etc., which present murders, adulteries, thefts, deceits and blasphemies as home entertainment]." Christians should not have a television set in the house!

From the Garden of Eden God has required life for life: righteous men sacrificed animals as a temporary covering until Calvary where Adam's "near KINSMAN" Jesus Messiah met sin's price "once for all [in the Adamic bloodline of Japheth, Ham and Shem who receive Him] . . . after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, He sat down on the right hand of God; henceforth expecting till His enemies be made his footstool" (Hebrews 10:10-12). This diagram displays the Patriarchal lineage of Adam's race called the Book of Life, and the Matriarchal lineage of Cain's race from Eve and the Serpent which is absent the Book of Life and includes the offspring of mesalliances. It identifies the physical seed of the Serpent in Noah's ark and how it multiplied by Ham's incest with his father's wife who bore the bastard Canaan.

Genesis 6:1-4, Matthew 24:37 and other scriptures in the Old and New Testaments explain how the physical Serpent's seed IS on this side of the Flood. Brother Branham said, "If you'll notice today now, that lineage of Cain still exists, and the lineage of Seth still exists. They both come down just the same. Cain's children is here in Jeffersonville tonight, and Seth's children's here in Jeffersonville tonight. As the blood stream weakens and goes out, but that lineage still hangs on" (COD, p. 305:590).

"It was not the seed of the Devil; it was the seed of the Serpent. And the Serpent had a seed; the Bible said it had a seed. And it still exists today, the seed of the Serpent, so much" (COD, p. 400:183; Deuteronomy 23:2-3 "tenth generation" means "FOREVER").

Hybridization is sin. Jesus said, "My Word is spirit, it is eternal Life" (John 6:63). When one adds to or takes from God's unchanging Word by making Him a trinity, baptising in three Titles "Father, Son and Holy Ghost" instead of the Name of those three Titles which is LORD JESUS CHRIST, or reciting the Bible-denying Apostles' Creed (so-called) you have added to or taken from God's Word, transforming it from eternal Life into denominational death (Galatians 1:8-9; Revelation 22:17-19). This is the hiss of the Serpent breeding spiritual Serpent's seed, and death.

Israelites and their non-Semitic Jewish impersonators murdered Jesus Messiah who was the Logos or Word manifest in flesh because they rejected His prophetic forerunner John the Baptist, the Elijah of Malachi 3:1 and Matthew 17:12, and clung to their animal substitutes and the lewd traditions of the Babylonian Talmud that "makes the Word of Moses and the prophets of none effect to them" (Matthew 15:1-9). The so-called Christian denominations of today have rejected the prophetic forerunner of Christ's second or 'parousia' Coming, William Branham the Elijah of Malachi 4:5, 6b and Matthew 17:11, held to their traditions "and know not that they are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked" (Revelation 3:17; Romans 11:32). Such are not foolish virgins but souls imprisoned now as "the widow who lives in pleasure is dead while she lives" (Matthew 8:12; 22:13; 25:30; I Timothy 5:5-6; I Peter 3:19).

Israel neglected to recognize their day and its Message although Moses and Daniel foretold the hour, day, week month and year in which Messiah would "be delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, taken, and by wicked hands crucified and slain" (Exodus 12:1-14; Daniel 9:25-26; Acts 2:23). Likewise denominational Christians have not recognized their day and its Message although Amos 3:7, Malachi 4:5, 6b, Matthew 17:11 and Revelation 10:7; Daniel 12:4, 9 and Revelation 10:1-4; Zechariah 14:7 and Matthew 24:22-28; Matthew 36-51 (Genesis 6:1-4); Matthew 25:6, Jude 14, I Thessalonians 4:13-16a, Revelation 8:1, 16:15 and 18:1-4; Matthew 27:50-53 (Leviticus 23:5-21); Luke 17:28-30 (Genesis 18); Hosea 6:1-3 agree "Jesus did NOT say no man could know the year, month or week in which His coming was to be completed" (An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, p. 322:4).

Newsletter 1066 stated, "The usual length of a betrothal was one year [which we have emphasised as the last year Nisan 14 to Nisan 14 before the end of the Christian dispensation]. Brother Branham said, "Oh, brother, give me a church full of the Holy Ghost. God will do in one year what all theology's failed to do in two thousand years. You wait till the anointing of the church really strikes home to that faithful the little remnant. After the doors of the Gentiles is closed, oh, God will anoint a church then. "He who's filthy, let him be filthy still. He who's righteous let him be righteous still, and he who's holy let him be holy still." And God will anoint the church with the power of God, and things will be taken place. Not only that then, but He's doing it now" (COD, p. 145:203). During this time she was considered married to her new baal (or master), and infidelity was adultery punishable by death (Revelation 16:19). She could not be freed without a formal writ of divorcement, and if the husband dies, she automatically became betrothed to his oldest brother.

Commonsense should have awakened Israel to the fact "it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins." Soul-less sacrifices were a temporary covering pointing to their promised Messiah—a sinless human KINSMAN Redeemer Whose Life would meet the wages of our sins, and Whose soul would return upon the elect penitent with eternal Life (Hebrews 10:4). Likewise commonsense and the type in Leviticus 23:5-21 should have awakened denominational Christians (so-called) to the fact Christ's mediation was but a temporary measure of grace excusing ignorance until the apostolic faith was restored and the mystery of God finished (I Corinthians 13:10). "That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him: in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His Own will: that we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ" (Ephesians 1:10-12).

Crescent & Cross

In spite of the curses God placed on the ground and the Serpent, and the enmity set between the two seeds in Eve's womb, their loss of immortality and expulsion from the Garden of Eden, her strong delusion that Cain was the Christ-child persisted. Her antitype claims to be the mother of all spiritual life, "Mystery Babylon the Great, the Great Whore of Judaeo-Roman Catholicism, the Mother of harlots [her apostate (once) Protestant daughter churches] and abominations of the earth [like Judaeo-Islam and the Judaeo-Jesuits]" trying to do God a service without it being His will. These will peddle their dogmas into the tribulation forcing trinitarianism, Rome's mark of the beast, on pain of death as did the mother church through almost a thousand years of Dark Ages.

Khazaria

The Christian dispensation will soon end and God will return to the children of Jacob, not one of whom will be a 'Jew' (Romans 11:25-26). An earthquake will demolish the dome of the Rock; faux Israel will be invaded and forever finished as a military power causing the mass exodus of non-Semitic, anti-Semitic self-styled Jews who have no history in the Middle East. The sons of Jacob will then return for redemption to the Land of their Covenant without "fear of the Jews" (Isaiah 6:9-13; 11:11; 13:6-16; Daniel 11:39; 12:1; Zechariah 12:2; 14:1-5; Revelation 16:19; UN Resolution 181). As Zerubbabel's restoration of the temple was supported by Iran, a new edifice supported by Rome will arise on the site of the Dome of the Rock: "a Shrine of the Prophets to serve the federated union of all continents" (David Ben Gurion, Israel's first Prime Minister, Look Magazine, January 16, 1962; Isaiah 56:7). In covenant with Jewry the Vatican will establish its seat of world government in Jerusalem making Israel the center of the world (Genesis 48:16; Ezekiel 5:5; 38:12). Knowledge of this prophecy led to the 2014 CIA/MOSSAD coup to pull Ukraine, formerly the Jewish homeland of Khazaria, out of the Russian orbit and deliver it to Western predator corporations and 'the City' as a stage from which to invade and re-communize Russia then annihilate the USA and Vatican City State as Jesus prophesied (Revelation 17-20).

Zerubbabel began rebuilding at the altar before the foundation of the temple was laid (Ezra 3:1-6), 2,000 years after Calvary; so-called Jews and Israelites will restore animal sacrifices until "the midst of Daniel's Seventieth Week [when] the [then Devil-incarnate] pope will [break his covenant, force his trinitarian mark of the beast, and] cause the sacrifice and grain offering to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate until the consummation which will be poured out on the desolator" (Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11; Isaiah 28:22; Revelation 11:7; 19:19-21).

When the earthquake divides the Mount of Olives after the close of the Christian dispensation it will demolish Es Sahkra, the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque. Jews and Israelites will restore the sacrifice of bulls and goats. Now at the end of the annual Hajj to Mecca, Judaeo-Roman-Muslim families worldwide celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Adha by sacrificing a goat, sheep, cow or camel. This honours Abraham's willingness to slay his only son Ishmael! on Mount Arafat, (not Mount Moriah as in Genesis 22:2) at Allah's request. In truth, the expulsion of Ishmael and his mother Hagar would have taken place many years before God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac, who was probably two to four years of age when he was weaned, and Ishmael sixteen to eighteen years of age.

[Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yusuf 'Abdullah al-Qaradawi, an Egyptian Islamic theologian based in Doha, Qatar, and chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars once famously said: "If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn't exist today." The death penalty for apostasy [which the non-Muslim world would regard as 'enlightenment'] is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence (Bukhari 9.84.57)]. Most take a second-hand religion from their priest, rabbi or imam; people of faith "receive the word with all readiness of mind, and search the scriptures daily, [proving all things] whether those things were so" (Acts 17:11; I Thessalonians 5:21).

As traditional churches observe Easter, let us read Acts 12:1-4: "Now [about that time Saul and Barnabas were preparing to set out to Jerusalem to bring what had been collected by the Christians at Antioch], Herod Agrippa [Judea's Serpent's seed] king [grandson of Herod the Great who slew male babies two years and under in hopes of assassinating his rival to David's throne (Matthew 2:16) was the nephew of Herod Antipas, who beheaded John the Baptist to please Herodias, and father to Agrippa II before whom Paul afterward made his defence]. "He stretched forth his hands denoting his intent to violently oppress and injure certain of the Church at Jerusalem, killed James the brother of John with the sword [fulfilling Jesus' prophecy that James "should drink of His cup" (Matthew 20:23), confirming the fact that "if we suffer with Christ, we shall reign with Him".

"And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread)." When Herod came to Judaea, he presented himself in the character of a devout worshipper, and gained favour by attaching himself to the Nazarites (as did Paul in Acts 21:26) when they came to the Temple to offer sacrifices on completion of their vows (Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, xix. 7:3). Thus he found popular protest against the Christians fomented by the Sadducaean priesthood, probably by the recent admission of Gentiles, and made himself the instrument of their jealousy to gain the favour of priests and people. Those who make it their business to please men make themselves an easy prey to Satan (Ephesians 6:6). Straight-talking Peter, being designed for further services was safe, but marked for a speedy sacrifice. "Upon the ceaseless prayers of the church, Peter was delivered by an angel." We who live in a cold prayerless generation can hardly form an idea of the earnestness of these holy men of old. But when the Lord allows an awful persecution like this to come upon the Church after the close of the Gentile dispensation, His elect will manifest that they are the Sons of God.

"And when he had apprehended Peter, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to guard him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people." This informs us that the Day of Passover that occurred on Nisan 14 was already past! Then were the [seven] days of unleavened bread" that commenced on Nisan 15, and the pagan Easter was approaching: after which Herod planned to arraign Peter on public trial. The (Gk.) 'pascha' appears 29 times in the New Testament: only in Acts 12:4 is the word rendered "Easter," the other 28 times 'pascha' is rendered "Passover." This explains why in Acts 12:4 the translators of the Authorised or KJV Bible rendered the word 'Pascha' "Easter" NOT 'Passover.' Their combined knowledge of Hebrew and Greek and extensive collection of manuscripts and citations were employed to assess every word. The KJV is correct: Herod meant Easter, Ishtar, Astarte, one of the titles of Beltis, (Nimrod's deified wife Semiramis) the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and not Passover. This is another scripture God employs to separate the wise virgins who have "studied to show themselves approved unto God" from the foolish virgins who are dilatory.

"Have you done your utmost to present yourself to God, a workman with no cause to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth?" (II Timothy 2:15). Passover was fulfilled by the crucifixion of Jesus Messiah two thousand years ago. The Judaeo-Roman church which married Babylonian and Talmudic paganism into a Christian form reintroduced the Jews' Passover as the pagan festival Easter. Brother Branham restored the apostolic faith and finished the mystery of God but his Tabernacle was a Pentecostal or Laodicean Church. Please read "The Two Babylons" by Alexander Hislop (p. 103) you will understand why Bible Believers Church does not observe Easter. Easter is assuredly not "built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone" (Ephesians 2:20).

Encyclopedia Britannica informs us that the festival of Easter was not observed in the early Christian church: "There is no indication of the observance of the Easter festival in the New Testament, or in the writings of the apostolic fathers. The sanctity of special times was an idea absent from the minds of the first Christians" [Galatians 4:6-11; Colossians 2:16] . . . "The name Easter (Ger. Ostern), like the names of the days of the week, is a survival from the old Teutonic mythology. According to Bede (De Temp. Rat. C. XV.) it is derived from Eostre, or Ostara, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring, to whom the month answering to our April, and called Eostur-monath," was dedicated" (Encyclopedia Britannica, 11th Ed., 1910-1911, p. 828).

"To conciliate the Pagans to nominal Christianity, Rome, pursuing its usual policy, took measures to get the Christian and Pagan festivals amalgamated, and, by a complicated but skilful adjustment of the calendar, it was found no difficult matter, in general, to get Paganism and Christianity—now far sunk in idolatry—in this as in so many other things, to shake hands. The instrument in accomplishing this amalgamation was the abbot Dionysius the Little, (about AD525) to whom also we owe it, as modern chronologers have demonstrated, that the date of the Christian era, or of the birth of Christ Himself, was moved FOUR YEARS from the true time [of 4BC]. Whether this was done through ignorance or design may be matter of question; but there seems to be no doubt of the fact, that the birth of the Lord Jesus was made full four years later than the truth" (Ibid, p. 105-106). Herod the Great died four years before the commencement of our era, shortly before the pagan Easter, accordingly the birth of Christ must have taken place four years before the customary date (Josephus, Antiquities, xvii. 9:3).

The apostles and disciples never observed pagan 'holy days' or heathen customs. "Learn not the way of the heathen . . . the customs of the people are vain" (Jeremiah 10:2-3). "Do not enquire after their gods, saying, How do these nations serve their gods, that I may do likewise" (Deuteronomy 12:30). Why do the majority of professing 'Christians' celebrate pagan holidays? Except for a miniscule remnant of genuine Christians, Christendom in common with Hindus, Muslims, Mormons, Jews, pagans and even atheists celebrate Easter and Christmas or their heathen source. Let us read a little history of the Judaeo-Roman church from Hislop's The Two Babylons:

"After Anicetus [AD92-168] completed his term as bishop of the first church of Rome, that whole church was well imbued with the idea that they were able to change the ritual of every church in Christendom and make their own celebration of Easter the great feast day in every church of the world.

Little did the first Roman church know of the soundness of the apostolic practices of the Greek Asiatic churches. [Among them the seven city-state Churches in Asia Minor whose natural attributes type the spiritual attributes of the seven Church Ages of Revelation 2 and 3]. This idea of changing the feast of the Passover to the pagan feast day of Astarte had been tabooed by Asiatic bishops since the time of Polycarp and Anicetus.

Polycarp had been the father of the Asiatic churches and the Greek churches looked to him as the essence of Christian perfection in matters of faith and doctrine. Polycarp had not been idle after he returned to Smyrna from his visit to Anicetus. He wrote many epistolary letters to all the Asiatic churches warning them of the great apostasy of the first church of Rome. Anicetus was decidedly condemned for allowing the first church at Rome to continue so many of the pagan rituals. The substitution of the feast of Astarte for the feast of the Passover revealed an entirely pagan church at heart with only the name 'CHRISTIAN'.

Being a Greek scholar, Polycarp wrote in the Greek language and his letters were not known to the Latins of Rome until many years later unless they were translated. When Victor wrote to the Asiatic churches requesting that they change the celebration of the Passover and make it come on the pagan feast day as his church had done, he was thoroughly repulsed by every Asiatic bishop. Most of the Greek Asiatic churches had such disdain for Victor that they scorned his proposal. They had all the past history of the reversion of that one Roman church since the earliest times and they did not even count it a Christian church.

The feast of the Passover was a feast that had been set by God. It was like the Sabbath Day. It was established in the beginning as a set feast and none of the genuinely converted [?] Christian Jews ever changed it [so it became a tradition of men]. Christians accepted it as a time to celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. The time when the death angel passed over the houses in Goshen reminded the Christian Jews of the time that Jesus' blood was taken (as the blood of the lamb had been used on the door post and lintel) by faith and placed over their hearts as a saving power in the days since Christ. The Word of God speaks continually of Christ, the Passover Lamb.

To substitute this feast for a pagan ritual was a great sacrilege. One needs only to follow the history of the pagan feast of Easter, to see the great rioting and drunkenness with the excess of passion that it carried with it and to know how far the first Roman church had degraded itself. The Asiatic churches all refused to change their blessed feast of the Passover (or Pasch) and wrote Victor to this effect. One bishop even went to Rome to try to bring the truth to bishop Victor who retaliated by rejecting him as well as the rest of the Asiatic churches.

In the language and ideology of Rome to date, we find the encyclopedias saying, "Victor excommunicated" the Asiatic bishops. Irenaeus wrote that Victor cut himself off (excommunicated himself) from the communion of all the other churches (Ibid, p. 117-119).

The purpose of preaching is to bring correction whereas the purpose of teaching is to show you your day and its' Message which is your position in Christ. As an Attribute of the Logos God foresaw you crucified in Christ before creation. You did not choose Him, by grace He chose you according to His foreknowledge of the decisions you will make by your own free will and ordained that you should bring forth fruit to His glory, and that your fruit should remain: that He may grant whatever you ask in His Name.

You walked along the shores of Galilee in Jesus' sandals; you were in Him when He healed the sick and raised the dead. When He died on Calvary you paid sins' supreme price in Him; when Jesus was justified and raised you were accounted justified in Him and can never come under condemnation again for there can be no double jeopardy in capital cases. When you were dead in sins and trespasses He raised you from the miry clay and sat you in heavenly places, which is "the present Truth," your position in Christ the Word. As His wife you are not your own but His purchased possession, and the Life you live by the Token on display is the Life Christ living in you, your Hope of Glory. nl1067.htm
