More Trees, Less Grass, No Food

November 7, 2021 — Trying to bury carbon dioxide deep underground is another fashionable green fantasy. It consumes big dollars for taxpayer subsidies but coal and gas producers will love it as it wastes energy and will increase demand for reliable energy. Artificial carbon capture is an unnecessary waste—the grasslands, forests, crops and continental shelf of Australia sequester far more carbon dioxide than Australia emits from all energy, transport, agriculture and mining sources.

Australia has 440 million hectares of grasslands—that 4.4 M sq km is larger than Europe's total area of 3.5 M sq km. We also have 147 million hectares of native forests, 1.8 million hectares of plantations and 4% of the world's global forest estate. Australia has the world's sixth largest forest area and the fourth-largest area of forest in nature conservation reserves. We are not short of trees.

Australian forests absorb 940 million tonnes of carbon dioxide annually, over double our domestic and industrial emissions of 417 million tonnes per annum. Add to that the absorption of CO² into our massive area of grasslands, crops, soils and continental shelf waters and Australia does more than its fair share of CO² sequestration (which means our grasslands and forests are starving for more CO²).

Trees, grasses and crops need more carbon dioxide plant food and the slight increase in global atmospheric carbon dioxide has led to a significant expansion of forests, grasslands and crops and reduction of the world's deserts.

All vegetation needs solar energy, carbon dioxide, rain and soil to grow. Green apologists claim that harvesting trees for wood-fired power stations is a net zero process because burning wood recycles CO² into the atmosphere. But they forget the energy needed and emissions created in logging, chipping, transport and replanting forests.

Burning coal or grazing cattle are both net–zero on different time scales.

Grass extracts CO² from the atmosphere. Cattle and sheep convert grass into wool, leather, energy, protein, fat, bone and milk for human use—all part of the natural global food chain. Some of the carbon compounds consumed by cattle are quickly returned to the atmosphere in burps and farts. Some of the carbon in milk and meat is recycled quickly via human emissions, but most is sequestered into human bodies or in wool and leather products. Burial of human bodies sequesters more carbon deep underground. The grass-cattle-human chain is a net zero process that is quicker than the very long net zero process in waiting for new trees to grow. Adult cattle and sheep produce new offspring within one year, one after another, and they grow quickly. They are harvested, milked or shorn far quicker than new trees can grow and be harvested.

Without cattle and graziers, grasslands would be fuel for monstrous bushfires or fuel for termites and wood-rot—all of which put more carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere. And if grasslands and croplands are smothered in trees, there will be no food. The Kyoto Agreement land sterilisation is achieving this foolish outcome.

Real red meat is green—it lives on grasses and sequesters carbon dioxide. The consumption of meat, milk and cheese cannot change long-term climate. Our teeth and gut flora have evolved for eating and digesting meat. The war on cattle and sheep is a ploy by vegan activists using the climate bandwagon trying to force consumers to live their way of life. In our democracy, we tolerate them with bemused amusement. In their intolerant world, we are on their hit list.

The main population centres of Australia are in the south-east. Forests, grasslands and crops in this area fix about 30% of all of Australia's carbon dioxide emissions. As always, it is rural Australia that supplies the population centres with food, minerals and energy. But farmers bear the brunt of unworkable carbon "farming" schemes and miners face silly carbon-capture schemes all devised by green-smoothie shiny-bums in tax-funded ivory towers.

Rural and regional Australia should be rewarded, not punished, for productively absorbing giga-tonnes of carbon dioxide.

Sabbatical Years & our Pentecostal Jubilee Part I

Daniel 9:1, "In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who was [by conquest] made king over the realm of the Chaldeans." Daniel was no longer a Babylonian but a subject under the second Gentile world empire of Medo-Persia; Babylon's overthrow naturally led him to meditate on the question concerning the time of the restoration of Jerusalem, in desolation seventy years as prophesied by Jeremiah on account of the failure of Judah and Israel to observe the sabbatical years or land sabbaths (Ezekiel 4).

Jeremiah 25:11-14, "This whole land shall be a desolation and a horror; and these nations [Syria, Palestine, and Jerusalem] shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years from (606 – 538BC). And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, for their iniquity, said the LORD, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it an everlasting desolation. And I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this Book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations. (For many nations and great kings shall make slaves of them: and I will recompense them according to their deeds and according to the works of their hands)".

Jeremiah 29:10, "Thus says the LORD, when seventy years have been completed at Babylon I will visit you, and perform My good Word toward you, causing you to return to this place." (Following the commandment of King Cyrus of Persia (Iran) in 536BC, who was prophesied and named by Isaiah 44:21 – 45:25 in 712BC although Cyrus was not born until 590BC).

Daniel 9:2-3, 20-24, "In the first year of Darius' reign I Daniel understood by writings the number of the years, in regard to which the Word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. And I gave my attention to the Lord God, to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes . . . And while I was speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; while I was speaking in prayer, the Man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, came to me about the time of the evening offering. And he gave me my instruction and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I have come forth to give you insight with understanding. At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you; for you are greatly beloved: so give heed to My Message, understand the matter and consider the vision."

"Seventy weeks are determined for YOUR people—Israelites (NOT Gentiles) and YOUR holy city—Jerusalem (NOT Rome, Canterbury or Springfield, Missouri), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy".

This sixfold purpose of Gabriel's visit to Daniel pertains only to the children of Jacob. Israel is God's servant nation; He can only deal with the nation in the Land of the Covenant, any Israelite outside the Land is without the Covenant. God deals with non-Israelites of Adam's race as sovereign individuals, not a nation. "God visited us to call out a people for His Name," a wife (Acts 15:14). "The servant does not abide in the house forever: but a son and heir born in the house abides forever" (John 8:35). So we have two groups of elect, Sons and Daughters of the King who constitute Christ's Wife, Israel's Queen, and Israel, our subject servant nation.

This diagram shows the Seventy Weeks divided between sixty-nine weeks, about 1,992 Gregory years of the Gentile dispensation taking Pentecost, seven Church Ages and the Caagsone Age, followed by one week of Prophetic years.

Gabriel's instructions delivered in 538BC were an ultimatum limiting His dealings with Jerusalem to 490 years "From Artaxerxes command on March 14, 445BC to restore and build Jerusalem" (Nehemiah 2:1-8; Daniel 9:25). This diagram reveals 483 of these years expired when Israel had Jesus Messiah "cut off" on Calvary's cruel cross on Nisan 14, AD30 although Pontius Pilate knew "that just Man" had "done no evil." This engaged the oath of "all the people, His blood be upon us, and on our children," as it is to this day (Matthew 27:25).

Under the Law Israel's high priest was a mediator between God and Israel; when Caiaphas, Annas and all Israel swore this oath they severed the relation and became (Heb.) 'cherem.' God put Israel away (Hosea 1 – 3). Until the full number of elect Gentiles are baptized into Christ His grace turned to whomsoever of Adam's race will receive "the present Truth" of His Word (II Peter 1:12; I John 1:7). Almost 2,000 years have passed since that day on Calvary. Now He is anxious to call His Wife to the Wedding Supper in the air; the Prophet said "when she goes up, two prophets arrive to Israel" (63-0322, The Revelation of the Seven Seals, par. 285). Thereafter in "the time of Jacob's trouble" God will sift an election of Israelites and the nation will be reborn in one day, all 144,000 of them.

God can never change His mind on His Word or change His Ways. The 'rapture' has been in PROCESS for the past fifty-eight years; not even God Himself can cause it to delay. He is omniscient, inerrant and can never change His mind on His Word. He is not now thinking or even taking counsel with Himself (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). All His thoughts He has always had. He will never condone a woman to preach or teach other than young children, under supervision of an elder. She may testify "how her candle was lit" but she may not instruct the Word of God or the teachings of Brother Branham (I Corinthians 14:34; I Timothy 2:11-15).

"Should we believe our prophets? They have THUS SAITH THE LORD, and a true prophet will never vary from the other prophet's word. They'll never make it say something that it doesn't say. They'll say just exactly what the true prophet said. That makes them a prophet . . . Daniel solemnly believed every word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke. He seen time was running out, that the time of the seventy years . . ." and we see that time is running out (61-0730E, The Sixfold Purpose of Gabriel's Visit to Daniel, par. 27).

We are not investigating Daniel's Seventieth Week but time, "the time of the end" (Daniel 8:17; 11:35, 40; 12:4, 9; Revelation 10:6) which involves the Prophetic, Hebrew, Julian and Gregorian calendars and Ussher's "Annals of the World." We find numerology in God's creation, in Genesis God's Calendar is based on days of twenty-four hours, weeks of seven days, months of thirty days, and years of twelve months totaling 360 days. The scripture runs in whole numbers: threes, sevens, tens, twelves, twenty-fours, forties and fifties.

In Noah's day God baptized and cleansed earth of past sins but sin and the physical seed of the Serpent was carried over in the ark, and the sin of miscegenation has continued (Genesis 6:4; 9:24-25; Numbers 13:28-29, 33; Deuteronomy 20:28; 2:11; Matthew 24:37); what God cursed is now accepted by the disingenuous euphemism 'multiculturalism.' II Peter 3:5-7, "In the days of Noah they were willingly ignorant, that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water" (like mankind the world is no longer upright and whereas once the weather was universally clement with no rain, snow or fierce wind, earth is off its axis, the Poles are frozen and all calendars require periodic adjustment). "Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water perished: but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same Word reserved for fire, kept for the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men".

Flames will leap thousands of miles into space when earth is cleansed by fire and restored to its axis for the honeymoon of Christ and His Bride. There will be thirty days in each month of the year when earth is restored to what we call the "Christian or prophetic calendar" of 360 days. The diagram above shows that Gabriel's instructions concerning the Seventy weeks for Daniel's people are weeks of prophetic years.

In Genesis 12:2 God promised Abraham, "I will make of you a great nation." The calendar God gave to Israel commenced on the first day of the month Nisan (Exodus 12:1-2) four hundred and thirty years to the day after their sojourning. It is NOT said in Exodus 12:1-2, 13:40-41, Genesis 15:13, or in Acts 7:6 that the children of Israel sojourned in the land of Egypt four hundred and thirty years. In Galatians 3:17 Paul explained that the time childless Abraham left Haran to sojourn in Canaan to the release of his posterity from their long sojourn in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. Throughout this time the Hebrews were "sojourners in a land [either in Canaan or Egypt (LXX)] that was not theirs." Their sojourn in Egypt was just 215 years.

In 1927BC the Lord spoke with Jacob in a dream at Bethel, assuring him that as he was Abraham's seed all families of Adam's race will be blessed (Genesis 28:10-22; 9:27; Isaiah 53:10; 54:2). After 483 years his seed departed Egypt from Succoth on Nisan 16, 1444 which began after sundown on Nisan 15 and became the Day of Pentecost as Israel commenced their journey over the caravan route across the desert to Etham. Besides the mixed multitude most Israelites were make-believers not believers. When Moses sent men of each tribe to spy out Canaan they returned a glowing report of the land but, "all we saw were men of a great stature. And we saw giants, sons of Anak, descendants of the giants [physical Serpent's seed]: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so were we in their sight. But Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it" (Numbers 13:23-23).

483 (69 x 7) is seven years short of 490, 7 x 7 x 10, a Grand Jubilee of God's Promise to Jacob in Genesis 28. God's will was that Israel enter the Promised Land at Kadesh Barnea. Had Israel entered the Promised Land at Kadesh this seventieth week would have seen the conquest of the Land of Canaan and the full era of 490 years would have ended in 1437BC. God fed Israel on the journey, made bitter waters sweet, brought water from the rock, led them by a Pillar of Fire and Cloud, made a way through the Dead Sea and destroyed the Superpower of that day. Heeding the sight of their eyes these un-believers and make-believers who often broke the Covenant, many doubted the promise and faced the judgment seat of God, Who said, "Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against Me, shall not come into the land which I swore to make you dwell, save Caleb, and Joshua . . . But your little ones, which you said should be a prey, will I bring in, and they shall know the land you have despised . . . your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness. And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until you are wasted in the wilderness. After the forty days in which you searched the land, you shall bear your iniquities, forty years, and know My breach of promise" (Numbers 14:29-34).

God turned from these sinners who had abrogated His Covenant and whose names were smitten from the Book of Life. He preserved them only so that they could bear a new generation: these reprobates would perish without entering the Promised Land. 'Cherem' is a Hebrew word requiring that a person or thing, such as the trinity, which is an affront to God, is FORCIBLY dedicated to Him as a thing that had been withdrawn from His service and worship, wherein He was not glorified, and again, by the hands of another, devoted to destruction that He might be glorified. The Greek equivalent is "anathema." In the case of the Canaanites who were natural Serpent's seed, cherem is the consecration to God of His enemies (Heb. "hated ones"), and their belongings by means of fire and sword.

The adult Israelites had committed the unforgivable sin and 'cherem;' His dealings with Israel were suspended until those sinners perished. Israel was on probation forty years, then God fulfilled the seventieth week of years to complete the Great Jubilee He promised Jacob at Bethel, and led his seed to liberate the Promised Land from the Canaanites.

Body of ChristThe churches have been wandering in the denominational wilderness and perishing for fifty-eight years since Christ's second unseen (Gk.) 'parousia' Coming in 1963, "and know not they have crucified the Son of God afresh to themselves" (II Timothy 3:1 – 4:4; Hebrews 6:6-8; Revelation 3:15-20). They are in the breach of promise between the Church Ages of PART Word and Christ the Headstone or Chief Cornerstone of the fullness of the Word known by a clear revelation of the unwritten Seventh Seal, which is the hidden secret of the six written Seals, and the mystery uttered by the Voices of the Seven Thunders. By grace we now have the perfect interpretation of the Word with divine vindication so that by faith one may yet enter Christ while the Door is open in heaven, and scripture must be fulfilled (Revelation 4:1). We are speaking of 'cherem' in time, "the time of the end."

By faith Israel should have entered the Land at Kadesh Barnea and spent seven years in conquest, completing 490 years from Jacob's dream of 1927BC in 1437BC. Israel's unbelief wrought a type wherein the 490 years of Daniel's Seventy Weeks was also interrupted in the sixty-ninth week of 483 years when the nation rejected and crucified Messiah Jesus. The completion of Israel's second Grand Jubilee has been postponed for almost 2,000 years while Christ calls His Gentile Bride. Israel rejected the Wedding, will miss the Wedding Supper and remain in servitude. To fulfill Daniel's Seventieth Week they must mourn their Atonement and be martyred in the faith for His Names sake according to their oath. This will be "the time of Jacob's trouble" also known as the Great Tribulation which will complete those seventy weeks of years.

Daniel's Seventy Weeks of prophetic years overlay the natural Hebrew, Julian and Pope Gregory calendars. Jacob/Israel's Jubilee began counting from 1927BC when the Lord God spoke to him as he dreamt resting his head on a stone. Israel's calendar dates from Nisan 1, 1444BC and will continue until "the most Holy place, the Tabernacle that will be erected on earth, is anointed"—New Jerusalem that descends from God out of heaven, prepared as a Bride adorned for her Husband. The anointing will be upon Christ and His Wife, Israel's King and Queen when He takes His Throne for a thousand years.

Our first diagram shows Daniel's Seventieth Week of Prophetic years of 360 days superimposed over about 2,500 years when Hebrew, Julian and Gregorian calendars of different duration that were employed in the times of the Gentiles. Whatever the calendar, one year is one year, and all calendars must be reconciled with the sun and moon for agricultural purposes. The first two divisions totaled 69 weeks of 360 day prophetic years; then Messiah was "cut off" and the Israel nation was blinded (Daniel 9:26; Isaiah 29:11-12; Luke 21:24; Romans 11:25). When we go Home for our Pentecostal Jubilee the elect Israelites will study the Prophetic calendar in their seventieth week. The seventh day of each week was a rest for man, every seventh year was a rest for the land (Leviticus 25:1-7), and the sabbatical year of the seventh week of years (7 x 7 = 49) was a (Heb.) 'shmita' or "year of release" that preceded the year of Jubilee. On the tenth day of this seventh month, Tishri, in the forty-ninth week of years "the Jubilee trumpet shall sound throughout the land and you shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a Jubilee unto you; and you shall return every man unto his possession, and you shall return every man unto his family. A Jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of your vine undressed" (Leviticus 25:8-11).

"So respected rabbis from both the Ashkenazic and the Sephardic communities compromised. Charged with interpreting religious law, or halacha, they devised [a 'workaround God's Law – Ed.] the "heter mechira," or sale permit, which allows Jews to temporarily "sell" their land to non-Jews for the shmita year, so the land may be cultivated. It is similar to the practice during Passover, when lawyers do a big business "selling" leavened products to non-Jews, so they need not be discarded" (nytimes.com).

This hypocrisy is like the satanic inspiration behind the Jews' Kol Nidre (Nedarim 23a-23b)' recited each year in the synagogue on the eve of the Day of Atonement. It allows all future obligations, oaths or pledges made in the coming twelve months to "be deemed absolved, forgiven, annulled, and void, and made of no effect" provided the "Jew," in making his commitment simultaneously revokes it in his heart. This allows him to lie, subvert, cheat, etc., with a free conscience, and is, I expect, the basis of Judaeo-Roman Catholic 'Indulgences'.

For 490 years from David to the exile, the land was farmed continually; seventy sabbatical years were ignored. Because of this disobedience God allowed the children of Israel to be taken captive to Babylon for seventy years so that the land could enjoy seventy years of rest. The Chronological Table shows the era of the Desolations for which Israel served during the captivity (Leviticus 26:40-43; II Chronicles 36:21; Jeremiah 25:11; Daniel 9:2, 17-18).

Brother Branham said, "God just speaks and the rapture will come [it has (Matthew 25:6; I Corinthians 15:18-58; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 10:1-7; 18:4)]. It ain't going out there, and the Angels come down and shovel out the graves and get out an old dead carcass here. What is it? It's born of sin to begin with, but a new one made in its likeness. If we have this, we'll die again. See? Nobody will say, "The graves will open. The dead shall walk out." That may be true, but not open the way you say open. See? It won't be like that."

"It'll be a secret, because He said He'd come like a thief in the night. He's already told us this." [And He has come as a thief in the night].

"The rapture, then judgments will strike; sin, plagues, sickness and everything. People will cry for death to take them when the judgment. "Lord, why is this judgment upon us when You said that there'd be a rapture first?"

He'll say, "It's already come, and you didn't know it." God hiding Himself in simplicity [of revelation]. Oh, my! All right. "It's already happened and you knew it not" (Revelation 3:15-20).

"Why don't believers believe the simple signs of His Coming?"

Seven Church Ages ended in apostasy"They're expecting all this things that's spoke of by the Scripture, and the sun's going to go down in the middle of the day, and there's going to be all kinds of things . . . I got the notes wrote here on it (See?), to show what them things are, and we'll get it on the breaking of these Seals this week anyhow, see. See? There it is, just where it's already passed and you didn't know it. See if it is. If the Angel of the Lord will break them Seals forth to us. . . it's sealed with them seven mysterious thunders" (63-0317M, God in Simplicity, par. 379-384). These are the simple signs: He has come.

The Church Ages ended on March 8, 1963, Christ's mediation was fulfilled and redemption was over. Spiritually the sun was at its zenith as He unfolded the fullness of the Word by revelation of the Seven Thunders calling His end-time Bride out from Rome and her harlot daughters who reject the midday SON-Light. "Instead of reflecting the SON-Light the full moon or church has become as blood" even before the earthquake (Joel 2:31; Matthew 24:27-29; Acts 2:20; Revelation 6:12).

Brother Branham said, "From the time God made the promise to Abraham (in 1921BC), Genesis 12:3, to the time of Christ being rejected by the Jews in AD33, according to Galatians 3:16 and 17, and according to Ussher's Chronology of the Hebrews, the power of God was with the Jews Israelites exactly (1921BC + AD33 =) 1,954 years . . .

Then after they rejected Christ, He turned to us Gentiles to take a people for His Name" (Acts 15:14). His Name is Lord Jesus Christ, not Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38-39; 4:12), and we are Christians.

"Now, counting the time, we find that we have exactly (Listen.) seventeen years left [signifying the perfection of spiritual order], and we will have the same span of time given to us as God dealing with us in the power of the Holy Spirit since AD33 until 1977, the same span of time of 1,954 years. God deals with us the same as He did with the Jews. See? (1977 – 33 = 1944 + 17 = 1961 as he was teaching). How about that?" (61-0806M, The Seventieth Week of Daniel, par. 195-196).

Christ crucifiedBrother Branham quoted Ussher's Chronology often found in reference Bibles; it dates the crucifixion as AD33. Our understanding is that Jesus was born in April 5BC, and that AD27 was "the acceptable year of the Lord" (Isaiah 61:1-2; Luke 4:17-19). This was Israel's thirtieth Jubilee (30 x 49 years); He was crucified on Nisan 14, AD30, closing the sixty-ninth of the seventy weeks of Daniel's prophecy and the Hebrew dispensation. After forty years, a number associated with a period of chastisement of a covenant people, a period of evident probation with a view to correction. We are thankful for the assistance of our friend Brother Christian Gench who has dedicated years of study to discover a more accurate chronology of the Bible. The sequence of sabbatical years hinges upon an exact starting point; this is more significant than people realize, but neglected for lack of a precise chronology.

In 1890 Ivan Panin, a Russian immigrant to the United States, discovered some phenomenal mathematical designs underlying both the Greek text of the New Testament and the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. He devoted fifty years painstakingly exploring the heptadic structure of the scriptures, generating over 43,000 detailed, hand-penned pages of analysis.

The whole Bible is divisible by seven: Israel's Jubilees commenced from Nisan 1, 1444BC when God instituted their calendar (Exodus 12:2, 17, 40-41). The date of the Exodus has been commonly quoted as 1446BC. But I Kings 6:1 when describing the construction of Solomon's Temple establishes the date of the Exodus. "In the 480th year after the children of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, he began to build the house of the LORD".

Solomon's fourth year was 964BC + 480 years = 1444BC and the Exodus whence sabbatical and Jubilee years start. 1444BC – 49 = sabbatical year 1396 "the year of release" (Deuteronomy 31:10-12; Judges 24:1, 25); 1395 was the first Jubilee.

Brother Branham said, "Now, mark down in your book a little Scripture here I want to give you. Leviticus 25, begin with the 8th verse. God calls a Jubilee every forty-ninth year; the fiftieth year was the Jubilee. We know that. We understand that. From the first Jubilee of Leviticus 25:8, in 1977 will be the seventieth Jubilee, making exactly (49 x 70 =) 3,430 years. Jubilee means the going up, or [sabbatical year of] release".

Oh, we're watching for the coming
Of that glad Millennium day,
When our blessed Lord shall come
And catch His waiting Bride away.
Oh, the world is groaning, crying
For that day of sweet release,
When our Saviour shall come back to earth again.

"Did you get that? God has dealt with us exactly the same amount of time that He dealt with the Jews from the time He give Abraham the promise (in 1921BC) until the rejecting of the Messiah in AD33, was 1954 years. And now, we have seventeen years left. We had about 1930 something years. We got seventeen years left until '77, will be the seventieth jubilee since the beginning of jubilees. And what will it be? Oh, brother. Watch close now. Don't miss it. It'll be the Jubilee of the going up of the Gentile Bride and the return of Christ to the Jews, when they go out of [spiritual] bondage [to manmade creed and dogma contrary to God's unchanging Word]. Amen. Don't you see? From all the world they've gather there for that day. Oh, my. See where we're at? We don't know what time it might happen. We're at the end time" (61-0806M, The Seventieth Week of Daniel, par. 197-198).

Whether calculating in Gregorian or Prophetic years, Ussher's Chronology, or the chronology we are using, 1977 was the seventieth Jubilee. It was "the going up, or release" because the Church was sealed in 1963, the full Message was delivered in 1965, and 1977 took us to the age of accountability when the revelation of the Message began to unfold to a tiny minority. Brother Branham explained, "To the Church, the Bride, the Rapture is a revelation to Her. It's revealed to Her. That, the revelation, the true Bride of Christ will be waiting for that revelation of the Rapture" (65-1204, The Rapture, par. 65; Matthew 25:25; Revelation 10:7). Maturity in the faith will usher in the Millennium (Ephesians 1:14; 4:13-16). Christ's Wife is living the second stage of the threefold PROCESS described in I Thessalonians 4:16.

Ours Pentecostal Jubilee commenced fifty-two days after the Day of Atonement on Nisan 14, AD30, the thirtieth year of release or (shmita) (49 x 30 = 1,960 Old Testament 'shmitas' + 49 x 40 = 1,470 New Testament 'shmitas' = 49 x 70 = 3,430 'shmitas' in all). Having rejected their Pentecostal Jubilee at Mount Sinai, doubted God's promise at Kadesh and the true Atonement on Calvary, Israel was marked to mourn the sins of their forbears, and martyrdom. Having paid sin's price Jesus Messiah preached to the total lost and vindicated the Old Testament saints, re-entered the tomb, raised and glorified His body and ascended to the heavenly sanctuary to cleanse the accumulated sins of the Old Testament saints, and descending to the place of the departed Jesus glorified and led the saints captive of eternal Life (Ephesians 4:8-10). "He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God (Acts 1:3-4); and being assembled together with them, commanded that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, of which He had spoken" (Luke 24:45-49; I Corinthians 15:6; 2:1-4).

Conservative Bible scholars usually place the Exodus in 1446BC. This must be corrected because I Kings 6:1 states, "And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in (964BC) the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel in the month Zif, which is the second month, when he began to build the house of the LORD." 964BC + 480 = 1444BC, April 3 is the correct date of the Exodus, and note that Christ's crucifixion was in AD30 and His birth was in 5BC.

The great symbolical divisions of Israel's history, or times of God's dealing with the nation, are marked by the number seven. We will have no difficulty if we confine ourselves to the duration of years rather than to a succession of years and chronological dates, with kairoV (kairos) seasons, definitely limited portions of time in which to grasp 'opportunities' by making the right decisions, rather than with cronoV (chronos), the course of time in general (hence our word "chronology"). Likewise we should understand that Brother Branham's references to 1977 direct us to God's renewed dealings with Israel in Daniel's Seventieth Week of prophetic years, their Jubilee that usher in the millennium.

An important distinctive of the Jubilee is how it always began with the sound of the trumpet on the seventh month of the forty­ninth year (Leviticus 25:8-10). All other years, including land sabbaths, begin on Nisan 1 (Exodus 12:2). The fiftieth year coloured in purple on our diagram is superimposed over the last half of the forty­ninth year and the first half­year of the next Jubilee cycle.

Jubilee year straddles sixmonths of 49th and 6 months first year of new cycleIsrael's calendar began on Nisan 1, 1444BC the year of the Exodus (Exodus 12:2, 40-41). The "year of release," sabbatical year, shmita, land sabbath or forty-ninth sabbath of seven weeks of years fell on 1396BC (Leviticus 25:8-11; Deuteronomy 31:10-12). The extraordinary fiftieth year that began on Tishri 1 straddled six months of 1396BC to Tishri 1 of 1395BC. Israel's Jubilee year was announced on the Day of Atonement, Tishri 10. When the date is corrected as shown, and the sabbatical and Jubilee years are factored in, an extraordinary pattern of 'sevens' comes into focus. These proceed in lockstep throughout the Judges era and, although not always observed, they confirm key dates in the Judges and Kings chronology. The continuous count of sabbatical years is perhaps the least researched aspect of Old Testament events even though Moses had instructed the Israelites to start counting after entering the land (Leviticus 25:1-4). Each little rectangle represents a Hebrew year of Nisan to Nisan (March or April Exodus 12:2, 17), and a red square on every seventh year means it was a 'Sabbath.' A span of seven years was called a 'Week' (Daniel 9:24). When the Sabbath years are plotted scrupulously from the first one, we reach and synchronize with the modern 'shmita' dates as plotted from the Babylonian captivity.

If we count 49 plus 49 plus 49 forward from 1444 BC, the dates produced coincide with known Sabbath years. AD26 was a sabbatical year and John the Baptist began proclaiming "the kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 3:1-2).

Jesus was born in 5BC. Irenaeus wrote "When Jesus was baptized, He had not yet completed His thirtieth year . . . A man had to be fully 30 to be a "Master" (Against Heresies, II, xxii, 5; Gregory Nazianzen, Oration on Baptism, XXIX; Luke 3:23). After His baptism, Jesus went into the wilderness for forty days then returned to Galilee (Matthew 3:13-17) in the sabbatical year Jesus proclaimed "the acceptable year of the Lord" or Jubilee of AD27 (Isaiah 61:1-2; Luke 4:17-19). Jesus Christ, the true Lamb was crucified Nisan 14 (April 3), AD30. St. Paul put it this way: "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law" (Galatians 4:4).

Then early in AD27 (it was still the special 'fiftieth' or Jubilee year) He came to Nazareth where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He went to the synagogue on the sabbath day, and He stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to Him. He unrolled the Greek LXX scroll and found the second lesson for the Day of Atonement where it was written, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives of sin and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

"And He rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on Him. And He began to say to them, "This day this Scripture is fulfilled in your ears" (Luke 4:18-21; Isaiah 61:1-2a). The Jubilee had come!

Based on AD26/27 regular calculations would make AD1987/1988 Israel's seventieth Jubilee, and AD2036/2037 the next Jubilee.

The year following the destruction of the second Holy Temple (3829 from creation, equivalent to AD68/69) was the first year of the seven-year Sabbatical cycle. It would be a sabbath year but one year short of the Sabbatical, seventh or Shmita year. We continue counting sevens from then Chabad. According to Jewish authorities 5782 on the Hebrew calendar Tishri 10 (September 7, 2021 to September 26, 2022) will be the next sabbatical or 'shmita' year. Thus the Jubilee should will be announced on Tishri 10, AD2022.

Brother Branham said, "Remember, in this great time of persecution, there's millions of Gentiles will die . . . sleeping virgin . . . It's just as clear as this seventy of weeks . . . if you haven't got the Holy Spirit, you'd better get to it as quick as you can. We're at the end time."

"God never said there'd be so many days, so many hours, or so many years; He never said anything; He said, "Until the Gentile dispensation be finished." The walls will be trod down, until God quit dealing with the Gentiles . . . through these ages, we had the Holy Spirit come in . . . God showed John exactly what would take place during the Gentile reign. Now, you haven't got any limited time like the Jews, but we got a sign. We got a signpost. [The Prophet and the conditions that have been prophesied]. Well, God did with the Jews just exactly what He said He would do in them 483 years [or] sixty-nine weeks. And one week left, one week's yet determined. Now, we cannot apply it in here, 'cause this is Gentile, the church" (61-0806, The Seventieth Week of Daniel, par. 103-105). nl1178.htm
