Vatican looks for Signs of Alien Life

Comment: The world is going insane. 65% of respondents to the aol poll "believe there's intelligent life out there!" Is this pope preparing earthlings for "alien communication". . . or invasion? Salt Lake OKs Gay Rights Laws with Mormon Backing

Salt lake City, November 11, 2009 — The Mormon church for the first time has announced its support of gay rights legislation, an endorsement that helped gain unanimous approval for Salt Lake city laws banning discrimination against gays in housing and employment.

The Utah-based church's support ahead of Tuesday night's vote came despite its steadfast opposition to gay marriage, reflected in the high-profile role it played last year in California's Proposition 8 ballot measure that barred such unions.

Feds move to seize NY Skyscraper, 4 Mosques

November 12, 2009 — Federal prosecutors Thursday took steps to seize four US mosques and a Fifth Avenue skyscraper owned by a nonprofit Muslim organization long suspected of being secretly controlled by the Iranian government.

West Bank Rabbi: Jews can kill Gentiles who threaten Israel

November 9, 2009 — Just weeks after the arrest of alleged Jewish terrorist, Yaakov Teitel, a West Bank rabbi on Monday released a book giving Jews permission to kill Gentiles who threaten Israel. Rabbi Yitzhak Shapiro, who heads the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva in the Yitzhar settlement, wrote in his book "The King's Torah" that even babies and children can be killed if they pose a threat to the nation.

Shapiro based the majority of his teachings on passages quoted from the Bible, to which he adds his opinions and beliefs. "It is permissible to kill the Righteous among Nations even if they are not responsible for the threatening situation," he wrote, "If we kill a Gentile who has sinned or has violated one of the seven [fraudulent "Noahide"] commandments—because we care about the commandments—there is nothing wrong with the murder."

Former UK Ambassador: CIA sent People to be 'Raped with Broken Bottles'

November 5, 2009 — Craig Murray, the rector of the University of Dundee in Scotland and until 2004 the UK's ambassador to Uzbekistan, said the CIA not only relied on confessions gleaned through extreme torture, it sent terror war suspects to Uzbekistan as part of its extraordinary rendition program.

"I'm talking of people being raped with broken bottles" . . . "I'm talking of people having their children tortured in front of them until they sign a confession. I'm talking of people being boiled alive. And the intelligence from these torture sessions was being received by the CIA, and was being passed on."

Suspects in Uzbekistan's gulags "were being told to confess to membership in Al Qaeda. They were told to confess they'd been in training camps in Afghanistan. They were told to confess they had met Osama bin Laden in person. And the CIA intelligence constantly echoed these themes."

"I was absolutely stunned—it changed my whole world view in an instant—to be told that London knew [the intelligence] coming from torture, that it was not illegal because our legal advisers had decided that under the United Nations convention against torture, it is not illegal to obtain or use intelligence gained from torture as long as we didn't do the torture ourselves," Murray said.

Murray asserts that the primary motivation for US and British military involvement in central Asia has to do with large natural gas deposits in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. As evidence, he points to the plans to build a natural gas pipeline through Afghanistan that would allow Western oil companies to avoid Russia and Iran when transporting natural gas out of the region. . . Comment: Do you see how thoroughly corrupted the politicians of the colonies of 'the City of London' are? Atheist Soros funds Catholic Groups

November 13, 2009 — It has now been revealed that George Soros, the billionaire hedge fund operator and well-known atheist, has been pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into "progressive" Catholic groups that are significant players in the national debates over health care and immigration.

On the surface, it would appear that Soros would be opposed to many positions of the Catholic Church. A major financial backer of the ACLU, Soros supports such causes as drug legalization, the rights of "sex workers" and felons, euthanasia, radical feminism, abortion rights, and homosexual rights. He does all of this in the name of promoting an "open society."

James Todd of Pewsitter.com, which represents traditional Catholics, calls such groups "CINOs," or Catholics In Name Only. He explains, "This group and several others have sprung up recently—I suspect purposely organized and funded—to counterbalance the growing influence of the faithful Catholics AND to try to deceive and mislead the middle of the road Catholics that have determined the last 13 Presidential elections."

An AIM investigation also finds, however, that Soros money has gone into the Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC), an organization established by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops back in 1988. Vatican Engineered Victory for Pelosicare

November 10, 2009 — The Los Angeles Times noted that the Roman Catholic Church considers healthcare a basic human right, "a position the church has articulated since 1963, when it was included in a papal encyclical by Pope John XXIII." Indeed, healthcare is declared a right in the "Peace on Earth" encyclical. That is also the basis of Obamacare.

The group Catholic Democrats has hailed passage of HR 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act of 2009, and notes that the only House Republican voting for it, Representative Joseph Cao of Louisiana, is a Catholic and former Jesuit seminarian. "The Catholic Church has been at the forefront of advocating for health care as a right for decades, including pastoral letters issued by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in 1981 and 1993," the group notes.

The evidence indicates that the Bishops—and the Vatican itself—are calling the shots behind the scene. In fact, as many media organizations are now reporting, they engineered the "compromise" that deleted abortion funding so the bill could pass the House. . . Where is the media outrage over "the separation of church and state?" Comment: The Bishops are now officially in favor of a bureaucratic plan that could spell the end to freedom of choice in health care and financially bankrupt the US. In addition to a socialist philosophy about the role of government, the Catholic Church operates 600 Catholic Hospitals, many of which serve legal and illegal immigrants. A national health care plan is a means by which these costs could be dumped on taxpayers.

The shocking turn of events once again demonstrates the extreme left-wing drift of the Catholic Church, which is the nation's largest religious denomination with 67 million members and run by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, whose role in passing Pelosicare is not the only evidence of such a turn. They poured more than $7.3 million of parishioners' money into the corrupt left-wing organization ACORN over the last decade before publicity over the organization's scandals forced suspension of the funding.

Global Warming as Mass Neurosis

July 1, 2008 – Last week marked the 20th anniversary of the mass hysteria phenomenon known as global warming. Much of the science has since been discredited. Now it's time for political scientists, theologians and psychiatrists to weigh in... But mother nature has opinions of her own. NASA now begrudgingly confirms that the hottest year on record in the continental 48 was not 1998, as previously believed, but 1934, and that six of the 10 hottest years since 1880 antedate 1954. Data from 3,000 scientific robots in the world's oceans show there has been slight cooling in the past five years, never mind that "80% to 90% of global warming involves heating up ocean waters . . ."

The Arctic ice cap may be thinning, but the extent of Antarctic sea ice has been expanding for years. At least as of February, last winter was the Northern Hemisphere's coldest in decades. Comment: In 1963, the Kennedy administration was said to have commissioned a select group of analysts and scholars to evaluate the problems inherent in a post-Cold War society. Entitled Report from Iron Mountain on the Possibility and Desirability of Peace, its conclusions and validity have been hotly debated since its "unauthorized" publication in 1967.

Although featured on the front page of the New York Times and subsequently translated into 15 different languages, many establishment icons and media pundits would only acknowledge the work as a "clever satire." The Times, which received a "no comment" response from the LBJ White House while attempting to verify its authenticity, wrote that the possible hoax was a possibly suppressed report.

Interestingly, the New York Times wrote "Many analysts believe that the report reflects a grasp of the Washington scene as well as an understanding of social psychology, ecology, economics and sociology that is beyond the ability of most satirists." Arthur I. Waskow of the Institute for Policy Studies told the Times he was surprised to see one of his privately circulated reports mentioned in the book. Waskow added that only about 60 people in Washington saw the report, "[so] if it's a hoax, it must involve somebody high up," he said (New York Times, November 1, 1967).

As Report from Iron Mountain states: "War supplies the basis for the general acceptance of political authority" which "has enabled societies to maintain necessary class distinctions," and "ensured the subordination of the citizen to the state. . ."

Economic surrogates for war must meet two principal criteria. They must be "wasteful," in the common sense of the word, and they must operate outside the normal supply-demand system. A corollary that should be obvious is that the magnitude of the waste must be sufficient to meet the needs of a particular society. An economy as advanced and complex as our own requires the planned average annual destruction of not less than 10 percent of gross national product . . . It may be, for instance, that gross pollution of the environment can eventually replace the possibility of mass destruction by nuclear weapons as the principal apparent threat to the survival of the species. Poisoning of the air and of the principal sources of food and water supply, is already well advanced, and at first glance would seem promising in this respect; it constitutes a threat that can be dealt with only through social organization and political power. But from present indications it will be a generation to a generation and a half before environmental pollution, however severe, will be sufficiently menacing, on a global scale, to offer a possible basis for a solution.

It is true that the rate of pollution could be increased selectively for this purpose; in fact, the mere modifying of existing programs for the deterrence of pollution could speed up the process enough to make the threat credible much sooner. . . US Senator Boxer took advantage of the Fort Hood incident and the continuing health care debate to quietly pass the climate bill (S. 1733), changing the name of the bill from the unpopular "Cap-and-Trade".

We have traced this Climate Change hoax back to 1963, although it is possible to trace it back much further. Question: In John 14:23, "Jesus answered, If a man love Me, he will keep My Words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make our abode with him."

In John 17:21-22 He said, "[I pray] that they all may be one; as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that You have sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me, I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one".

How can "we" and "us" be one individual?

Answer: In John 14:18-23 Jesus said, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. In a little while [after My death, burial, resurrection and ascension—for I go to My Father's House to prepare a place for you (John 14:1-4)], the world will see Me no more [with their eyes]; but you will see Me [by faith, or Spiritual understanding]: and because I [will then] live [eternally], you too [being a further MANIFESTATION of the Logos or eternal thoughts of God expressed by your unity in the faith to which you were predestinated before creation according to the foreknowledge of God the Father (Job 38:4, 7; Luke 15:10; I Peter 1:2; Revelation 13:8)] will also live eternally in Me. At that day [when you are reborn with eternal Life] you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you." You will know because of our oneness in the faith by which you will recognize you are ETERNALLY part of God, an Attribute of the Logos MANIFESTED to fulfill your purpose in life and reveal the glory of God as a "written epistle" of your day and its Message (II Corinthians 3:2).

"He who has My commandments, and keeps them, is he who loves Me: and he who loves Me shall be loved of My Father [who will then be his Father through the new birth], and I will love him, and will MANIFEST or make Myself known to him by revelation."

Jesus replied, "[By faith]. The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My Name, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you".

The key to understanding this question is the realization that the Bible is the story of God MANIFESTING the Attributes of what He is by unfolding Himself or changing His form from the invisible Holy Spirit alone with His eternal thoughts, to the MANIFESTATION of those thoughts time to make their free choice and MANIFEST that they are the Sons of God, and resurrected in the fullness of the Gentile dispensation in the flesh of His glorified Family, so that God is not "three in one, blessed trinity," but ten thousand times ten thousand in one, and thousands of thousands.

The Holy Ghost is the Father of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:20) and all of the saints. He became Father when He gave birth to the Logos which is the sum of His infinite and eternal thoughts expressed and later MANIFEST as the virgin-born Jesus of Nazareth. His first son on earth was Adam, and until his first child became living, MANIFESTED soul, God was only potentially a Father. He is the Son in whom the Logos or fullness His Attributes was expressed bodily when Mary believed the Word of the Angel Gabriel, conceived and bore baby Jesus who is that Word MANIFEST in flesh (John 1:18; Colossians 2:9). This explains how Jesus could say in John 14:18, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you [NOT in the flesh, but in the Spirit that is presently WITH you MANIFEST in My flesh. . . I AM the Comforter]." In the flesh I am WITH you, but after I return to the Spirit I will be with you, even IN you to the end of the world (Matthew 28:20; John 13:13; 16:16-17).

There is no such thing as an eternal Father or an eternal Son. Father is an Office the One Person of God received when His first son was MANIFEST. Son is what He became when He expressed or MANIFEST Himself in the virgin-born Jesus Christ who was the fullness of the character and nature of the eternal Spirit MANIFEST bodily in one Man (Colossians 2:9; I John 1:1-2).

When Jesus spoke to the prostitute at the well He demonstrated He was the Word or Logos of God by discerning the thoughts and intents of her heart (Hebrews 4:12), and being an honest woman and a believer seeking more Truth she instantly recognized Him to be a prophet and did not disguise her sin. "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and you Judeans say, that Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship".

"Jesus replied, Woman, believe Me, the time is coming in which you will neither worship the Father in this mountain, nor continue to worship in the temple at Jerusalem. The trouble with you Samaritans is not so much WHERE you worship but that you do not know WHAT you worship. We Judahites know WHAT we worship, for salvation is from the Judeans (Isaiah 2:3). And the time has come, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth [by understanding revealed by the Holy Spirit] for the Father seeks a Spirit-quickened people to worship Him by faith through conviction, not Law by compulsion."

"God is a (One) Spirit [not two Spirits and one Man]: and they who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth." That is, by a clear understanding of the revealed Word (John 6:63).

"The woman said, I know that Messiah comes, who is called Christ: He will tell us all things, [discerning the thoughts and intents of the Heart to prove He is the Logos MANIFEST in flesh]" (John 1:1).

"Jesus said, I who speak with you am the Messiah." Being elect of God the woman immediately caught the revelation, left her waterpot, and ran to the city where she testified, "Come, see a man, who told me all things that ever I did: is this not the Christ"?

Brethren will persist in trying to make the non-elect elect when Jesus said, "My sheep receive My Word" (John 10:1-5), and Paul said, "If after the first and second admonition one is factious or a follower of false doctrine, he may be saved, but you know the election is off because he is not a sheep" (Titus 3:9-11).

Jesus has said God is One (1) Spirit, not a trinity of two spirits and one man. "God is not a man" (Numbers 23:19). Yet Jesus is a Man, and He is God as John 1:18 explains, "No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared Him" or disclosed and displayed His Attributes in the flesh of a virgin-born Man to pay sin's price. As Jesus men could see, hear and touch the fullness of the nature and character of God MANIFEST bodily as a Man.

What was He before He was MANIFEST in flesh? He was the Logos or Word. What was He before He was the Word? He was the sum of God's eternal thoughts, for a Word is a thought when it is expressed.

But how could Jesus be "in the bosom of the Father" and with His disciples on earth? Surely we have two persons there! This expression explains that as the Logos Jesus is the very heart thoughts of God. God's thoughts are Spirit, the eternal Attributes of WHAT God IS (John 6:63). He was the Logos MANIFEST in flesh. Logos in a Greek word meaning "thought in speech" or concept. God's thoughts are eternal and they are real and will come to pass in their designated season and time. As a word is a thought when it is expressed, Jesus is the nature and character of the invisible God made visible. Colossians 2:9, "In Christ dwells all the fullness of the [nature and character of the] Godhead bodily." The fullness of what the invisible God is was MANIFEST in the virgin-born Jesus Christ. Not another Person but the same Person MANIFEST in material visible form.

You see, the Bible is the story of the invisible God unfolding WHAT He is, or changing His form from the eternal Spirit alone with His thoughts to the MANIFESTATION of those thoughts in the flesh of His glorified Family, which is Jesus Christ and His mystic Body the elect New Testament Church. Being the Logos in God's heart (or bosom) before time and creation, and MANIFEST in virgin-born just two thousand years ago, Jesus is the Author and the beginning of God creating Himself a part of His creation (Revelation 3:14).

By MANIFESTING the likeness of His Attributes in the flesh of Jesus Christ, our ten senses of sight, touch, taste, hearing and smell; and memory, conscience, imagination, affection and reasoning may comprehend WHAT He is and by identifying with those qualities emulate and become like God, so that as we understand His will more perfectly we "are changed into the same IMAGE from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord" (II Corinthians 3:18).

The secret of the revelation is the Word MANIFEST. II Timothy 3:16, "Without disputation, great is the mystery of godliness: God was MANIFEST in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." God wants to MANIFEST in your flesh through your faith or understanding of His will, which is His Word, which is Jesus Christ; and as His nature and character MANIFEST through your life, you become less and He becomes greater as your life becomes an epistle or letter of His Word written in your actions, read and known of all who see you, so that people will know that you "have been with Jesus" (II Corinthians 3:2; Acts 4:13).

Then God and Jesus will be [at one] in you, and you will be [one] in them as Jesus prayed in John 17:21-26, "I pray . . . that they all may be one; as You, Father, are in me, and I in You, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that You have sent Me".

As the fullness of the character and nature of God was expressed bodily in Jesus Christ without limitation, it is expressed by measure or portion in each Christian. Yet we are one with God and every one of His saints by the agreement of faith (I Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:13), each MANIFESTING God according to the measure of the gift of our faith. And in the renewed heavens and renewed earth God will be worshipped by the "saved" non-elect in the FORM of His glorified Family—Jesus Christ and the elect New Testament Church. Not "God in three persons" as the Catholics imagine, but God in ten thousand times ten thousand and thousand thousand persons who are saints (Daniel 7:10; Revelation 5:11).

Question: What does that passage mean where the Lord says "Let him without a sword sell something and buy one"? Luke 22:36

Answer: In chapter 22 of his gospel, Luke explains how the Hebrew dispensation of the Law was just one day from its end (see Newsletter 603). The pope or Israelitish high priest of that day and his apostate religious hierarchy had determined to murder Israel's Messiah, and Satan having entered into Judas Iscariot he resolved to betray his Lord for money. The disciples partook Jesus' last supper and He instructed them in the Lord's Supper or Communion, and against nicolaitanism. He prepares them for His imminent apprehension and cruel death after which they will be ostracized, face great danger, and with the exception of John, they will killed. Jesus turns to Peter, the boldest of the disciples and regarded as a leader, stating how despite his boldness, Satan will cause him to deny Him, but that He has prayed that faith might not fail him as his courage will.

Jesus next addressed the Eleven, pointing back to the time when they first preached the Gospel in Galilee with many believing and signs following (Luke 9:1-6). "When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, did you lack anything? They said, Nothing." In these peaceful, happier times, the crowds were respectfully attentive believers and Lord provided for their necessities so that they were in want of nothing. Now circumstances were about to change, and their very lives would be endangered. Therefore He tells them they must be anxious in everything and to ensure they have a means of self-defence. Verse 36, "Now, he who has a purse, let him take it, and likewise his leather bag [of provisions]: and he who has no sword, let him sell even the shirt off his back [or upper garment] to purchase a sword. Because I assure you that everything that is written of Me must accomplished, (and He quoted Isaiah 53:12), "He was reckoned among the sinners": for the things concerning Me is reaching its fulfillment".

Whether elect or nominal the imminent situation for Christians will be a perfect parallel to Luke 22:35-37. We have lived in prosperous times, and whereas the United States began her history dependent upon the Lord, "without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked nothing," because she was blessed through faith, and grew wealthy until she became the bell weather of worldly prosperity; now she is absolutely wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked, feeling no need to apprehend faith in the present Truth, and obedience, having substituted dependence upon God with dependence upon His murderers, the non-Semitic, anti-Semitic self-chosen people of Rothschild's 'City of London.'

Elect Christians now face suppression of free expression and increasing persecution from the enemy of God and men, and like the Eleven must forsake even the shirt off our back to ensure we are armed with the Sword of the Spirit in the strong hand of faith. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12).

With the exception of John, all of the original apostles were martyred, so be of good heart because the saints of all Church Age returned to the dust whence they came whereas throughout the Book of Revelation John represents Christ's end time Bride who will not see death but be changed in the atoms like Enoch who is also our type. nl608.htm
