DEA Struck a Deal with Mexico's most notorious Drug Cartel
January 13, 2014 — An investigation by El Universal has found that between 2000 and 2012, the US government had an agreement with Mexico's Sinaloa drug cartel that allowed the organization to smuggle billions of dollars of drugs into the US in exchange for information on rival cartels.
Sinaloa, led by Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, supplies 80% of the drugs flooding Chicago and has a presence in cities across the US. There have long been allegations that Guzman, considered the "world's most powerful drug trafficker," coordinates with the US. But the El Universal investigation is the first to publish court documents that include corroborating testimony from a DEA agent and a Justice Department official. The written statements were made to the US. District Court in Chicago in relation to the arrest of Jesus Vicente Zambada-Niebla, the Sinaloa cartel's "logistics coordinator" and son of leader Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada.

Iranian Pastor, Amin Khaki
January 15, 2014 — Pastor Amin Khaki from Karaj, Iran has been informed that he must report himself to Plate 44 of the Revolutionary Court in Karaj, Iran. This is the office of VEVAK (the secret police). This is the place that they ask people to report to in order to interrogate and typically arrest them.
Brother Amin is one of the three people who had their homes raided by VEVAK on December 15, 2013. A laptop computer was taken along with Christian materials.
Please remember him and his family in prayer. He has some major decisions to make moving forward, he will be mistreated and subject to many difficulties. Pray for him and his wife to receive wisdom from God and boldness to stand firm in the time of this trial. It is not probable, but it is possible that they could just question him and not be arrested. Pray that God moves in a way for him to remain free.

NSA able to target Offline Computers using Radio-waves for Surveillance, Cyber-Attacks
January 15, 2014 — The National Security Agency has implanted software in about 100,000 computers around the world, allowing the United States to surveil those machines while creating a trail that can be used to launch cyber-attacks. Though most of the software is installed by gaining access to computer networks, the NSA can also employ technology that enters computers and alters data without needing internet access.
The secret technology uses covert radio waves transmitted from small circuit boards and USB cards clandestinely inserted into targeted computers, The New York Times reported. The waves can then be sent to a briefcase-sized relay station intelligence agencies can set up just miles away, according to NSA documents, computer experts and US officials. The radio frequency technology—which often needs to be physically inserted by a spy, manufacturer or unwitting user—has helped US spies access computers that global adversaries have gone to great lengths to protect from surveillance or cyber-attack.
The NSA calls use of the infiltration software and radio technology—all part of a program known as Quantum—"active defense" against cyber-attacks, though it has condemned use of similar software by Chinese attackers against American companies or government agencies. . . Full story: rt.com
Devastating Dossier on 'Abuse' by UK Forces in Iraq goes to International Criminal Court
January 15, 2014 — A devastating 250-page dossier, detailing allegations of beatings, electrocution, mock executions and sexual assault, has been presented to the International Criminal Court, and could result in some of Britain's leading defence figures facing prosecution for "systematic" war crimes. . . The damning dossier draws on cases of more than 400 Iraqis, representing "thousands of allegations of mistreatment amounting to war crimes of torture or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment". They range from "hooding" prisoners to burning, electric shocks, threats to kill and "cultural and religious humiliation". North Korea, 'Genocide by Sanctions': UN Double Standards pertaining to Sanctions and their Devastating Social Impacts
January 10, 2014 — Information on the impact of sanctions on the people of the DPRK and third states affected by the sanction is confidential to the Sanctions Committee. . . The United Nations Security Council has imposed multiple sets of sanctions on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, including Resolution 1718 (October 14, 2006), Resolution 1874 (June 12, 2009), Resolution 2087 (January 22, 2013, and Resolution 2094 (March 7, 2013). It is striking that in all four resolutions imposed on the DPRK, the sanction language used to prohibit items from entering or leaving the DPRK is sufficiently broad and vague that practically any item essential for the normal, healthy functioning of society is vulnerable to proscription and exclusion of use by the DPRK: the use of the word "could" so excessively prevails throughout (as indicating possibility) as does the use of the vague phrase "reasonable grounds to believe," which does not require a high standard of proof, or any actual demonstrable evidence, whatsoever, but relies on subjective "belief" which may be based upon or distorted by political bias. . . Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan referred to sanctions as a "blunt instrument which hurts large numbers of people who are not their primary target". . .

Remembering Halton Arp
January 10, 2014 — On December 28, 2013, the acclaimed astronomer Halton Arp passed away at the age of 86 in Munich, Germany. Halton C. Arp was a prodigal son of American astronomy whose dogged insistence that astronomers had misread the distances to quasars cast doubt on the Big Bang theory of the universe and led to his exile from his peers and the telescopes he loved . . .
Arp found that galaxies with radically different redshifts, and thus at vastly different distances from us, often appeared connected by filaments and bridges of gas. This suggested, he said, that redshift was not always an indication of distance but could be caused by other, unknown physics.
The biggest redshifts belonged to quasars—brilliant, pointlike objects that are presumably at the edge of the universe. Arp found, however, that they were often suspiciously close in the sky to relatively nearby spiral galaxies. This suggested to him that quasars were not so far away after all, and that they might have shot out of the nearby galaxies.
If he was right, the whole picture of cosmic evolution given by the Big Bang—of a universe that began in a blaze of fire and gas 14 billion years ago and slowly condensed into stars, galaxies and creatures over the eons—would have to go out the window. . . Full story: youtube.com

Headship
Today we will consider headship in the family of man, in his household, in the Family of God's Kingdom which is His Church and the Household of God. If your home is in our Lord's Armada there is but one head in command of that Gospel ship, and the union of husband and wife will not be 50:50 but 100:0 like the union between our Lord Jesus Christ and the individual members of His Bride (Matthew 4:4).
This is qualified by Ephesians 5:21-33 which assures Christians that having passed from bondage under the letter of the Law to the Spirit of the New Covenant we are "the Lord's freemen" liberated to serve Christ in newness of Life through the instinct of love to Him (I Corinthians 7:22; John 8:36). "Be submissive to one another in reverential fear of falling short in your service to Christ the Word [who as Son of man is judge. Unlike the Law He can have compassion with our weaknesses as one who was in every respect tempted as we are, yet without sin]" (John 5:22; Hebrews 4:15). Our relation under preeminence to Christ as Husband is the foundation of His threefold purpose whereby He will restore the Kingdom to Edenic perfection. First He wanted to express "the fullness of the godhead bodily" in our Kinsman Redeemer. Second He wanted to bring "the fullness of the godhead" into His Body of believers throughout the Gentile dispensation manifest in the resurrection and glorification of the PART-Word saints and the 'third pull' in the manifestation, translation and glorification of His end-time Bride under preeminence to our Husband the Word. And thirdly, to restore us all as His glorified Kingdom in its rightful position whence it fell by sin under the first Adam.
Our liberty as freemen in service to Christ our Husband through His love in us is the foundation and archetype of the three greatest earthly relations: that of husband and wife (Ephesians 5:22-33), parent and child (Ephesians 6:1-4), and master and servant (Ephesians 6:5-9). "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands [under preeminence], as unto the Lord." Be proud of your man, edify him and raise his esteem. Do not shame but cover his frailties and pray for Him as one heart in one body. Apply your Token, "for the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy" (I Corinthians 7:14).
Brother Branham said, "There's a question here . . . "You're always harping about women, how they mustn't wear their hair, but you never say nothing about the men."
If I seen a man come in here with long hair hanging down his back like a woman, I'd say, "Mister, why don't you go to the barber shop? You look like a woman." See? But men usually don't do that. See? Not as man. . . Now, not as the infallibility of man, they're just as guilty as the woman.
And by the way, a man that'll let his wife do that, he's guilty double of it, 'cause he's supposed to be the one that has the say-so in the house. And that man can't even rule his own house; how could he do it in the house of God? (COD p. 100:35-36).
Those under subjection ought to submit themselves to their superiors whoever they are. This is the term used of wives to their own husband who is no stranger but one flesh: "obey" is the term used of children and servants (Ephesians 6:1-9; Colossians 3:18-25), as there is a greater equality between wives and husbands, than between children and parents. From Genesis 2:18, 20 we learn that woman was made to serve her husband who is her head; hereby she serves Christ who is his Head. Woman is not original creation but was formed as a byproduct from Adam as a "suitable helper" to serve him. After the Fall she lost her co-equality in nature and God said, "Your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you" (Genesis 3:16). So in the marriage ceremony the bride promises to obey the groom while he promises to love his Bride.
"Because a husband is head of his wife, even as Christ also is Head of His Church, and Himself the Saviour of the Body. [Although there is a difference in headships], nevertheless as the Church is subject to Christ, so the wives must in every respect be submissive to their husbands." That is in everything appertaining to a husband's legitimate authority; "in the Lord" (Colossians 3:18); should he turn his wife from the Lord unto sin that is where her submission ends.
Brother Branham said, "Lord, not one time has she ever said one word about me going in the meetings, staying months, or whatever it was; not one time has she ever opened her mouth about it. She's always sent my clothes to the cleaners and washed my shirts, and had everything ready to go in the meeting. And then, she wonders how she can serve God."
"You women, as you serve your husband, you serve God, of course."
"And now and then when I came in all tired, wore out; people coming from everywhere, I'd have to go out somewhere on a fishing trip, or hunting trip. Why, many women would've blowed up at that. What'd she do? Got my hunting clothes ready for me to go; let me go" (Look away to Jesus, p. 20:169-171).
Shifting his focus from the measure of "obedience" to the measure of "love," Paul exhorts husbands. Ephesians 5:25-31, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself up for her; in order that by cleansing her with the Scriptural baptism (Titus 3:5) through the [revelation of His] Word [as the Israelite bride passed through a purifying bath before marriage] that He might sanctify and present the Church to Himself in splendor, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but holy and blameless. Thus ought husbands also to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and carefully protects it, even as Christ does the Church: because we are members of His [glorified] Being. For the cause of procreation a man shall leave father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife [in conjugal relations], and the two shall be one flesh [as Christ and the Church are one]".
Thus a husband's love for his wife should reflect and compliment Christ's love for the Church, and though she is disdainful and wantonly wayward, he will reconcile her to obedience by solicitude and attachment as Christ reconciled the Church, not through fear and threats. Consecrating her to God by the Token of the Life of Christ on display in him for the two are one flesh by the marriage union; she is the foundation of his joy and the mother of his children. Woman was taken from man in the form of a rib from which the Lord (Heb.) 'banah' built Eve, not a creation separate from Adam but an extension and continuation of the same creation, and Adam called her (Heb.) 'Isha, meaning "woman" womb-man from 'Ish,' meaning "man," and he will cling to her. A man leaves father and mother to be joined to his wife for the purpose of propagation whereby they become one flesh in their offspring. In the antitype the Holy Spirit was taken from Christ's side on Calvary for the purpose of propagating His seed (Hebrews 2:9-15; Isaiah 53:10), the many-membered Bride of Christ in the stature of a perfect man by the invisible union of Christ and His Bride whereby they pass His Life through the Body by the spoken Word to bring new birth to God's elect. Thus God and the soul that is joined together with God is one Spirit (I Corinthians 6:17).
Ephesians 5:32-33, "There is a great hidden meaning in this [which we have disclosed above and types the mystery of procreation in the marriage union of a man and his wife after the Spiritual procreation of Christ and His Bride. Verse 29 states the precise similarity of the relationship]: but I speak concerning Christ and the Church. Nevertheless let each one of love his own wife as being himself; and let the wife see that she reverence her husband." Thus a special weight for house and husband is laid upon the woman to ensure that she fulfills her duty set forth in verses 22 to 24.
How destructive is pulpit delinquency to the human race? I dare say billions have perished physically and more spiritually through the failure of ministers in expounding this great hidden meaning in type and antitype.
Please open your Bibles at I Corinthians 11:2-16. Having in the previous chapters corrected the more personal abuses of conduct, order and doctrine prevalent in the Church at Corinth, Paul now turns to those which relate to public worship as in these last days Brother Branham restored the Church to these directions Paul received "of the Lord" (11:23). The first of these was the habit of women cutting their hair which is indicative of their rejection of the authority of God and man to whom women must be under subordination. This trend invaded the Western world in company with Hollywood movie films early in the twentieth century.
"I praise you, brethren, that you have been remembering and holding fast to the doctrine and practical matters even as I have delivered them to you orally and in letters (II Thessalonians 2:15). But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man; and that the head of woman is her husband; and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered dishonours his Head, but every woman that prays or prophesies with uncovered head dishonours her head [her husband or is she is unmarried her father and other men in the family]: for this is the same as if she her head were shaven [as a prostitute or an adulteress]. For if the woman is not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered".
We learn from verses 14 and 15 that nature has provided woman, but not man, with long hair, which proves that man was designed to be uncovered, and woman covered. Where our English language Bibles say "long hair" the correct translation is uncut hair. No Christian woman cuts her hair, for only a prostitute or a woman apprehended in or suspected of adultery had cut hair. In the Ordeal of Jealousy (Numbers 5:18; Jeremiah 7:29-30), which is the Old Testament type of the Seven Vials of Revelation, a woman suspected of unfaithfulness would be brought before the priest and submitted an ordeal in which her head would be shaven bald indicating she had rejected the authority and covering of her husband, and the Lord God. Spiritually speaking it is a sign the election is off and she has no theophany (II Corinthians 5:1-4).
A woman who cuts her hair has brought shame upon herself and disgrace to her husband and can be put away in divorce because she has publicly rejected his authority. Brother Branham said, "The Bible plainly teaches, if a woman cuts her hair, her husband has a right to divorce her, put her away. Said if she cuts her hair, she dishonors her head, her husband. And a dishonorable woman should not be lived with" (From that Time, #61-0520).
On the other hand it is an unseemly effeminate practice for a man to have uncut hair; the Nazarite wore his long uncut hair lawfully, bearing the reproach of the Word as part of a vow sanctioned by God (Numbers 6:5). "For a man must not cover his head because he is the image and glory of God [and he is to reflect the decisive correctness in so far as he exercises dominion over his own sphere with godlike freedom of authority having dominion over the works of God] (Genesis 1:26): but the woman is the glory of the man [and is to reflect his character, for "Women are to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed" (Titus 2:4-5).
Or as Brother Branham delicately put it, "I say this with respect, ladies. When a woman gets out of the kitchen, she's out of her place. That's right. That's where she belongs. Outside of that, she has no place" (Teaching on Moses, p. 4:23).
He also said, "There's nothing that God could've give a man any sweeter than a wife, a real wife. But when she gets anything beyond that, she's out . . . God never intend women to work in any these places and to do them kind of things like that. Them women, they're to have children and raise their children. They're all little preachers, every one of them, but they have their own pastoral at home with their kiddies, bringing up their children. All right" (The Ten Virgins, p. 467:229).
And in response to the question "Brother Branham, are women allowed to work in public affairs when they have a healthy husband and children?"
He replied, "I believe, if I was a woman and I knowed that my husband was healthy and had a good job, working, I believe it would be a great pleasure to me to stay home, take care of my children and raise them up, and to love the Lord. And if I had any time from my washing and things that I was going to do, I think I would teach my children how to serve the Lord" . . .
"Now, I'm certainly against women working in these offices where all these businessmen, they carry on, tell them dirty jokes. And a nice, clean woman setting there and all these smutty dirty things told around like that, I'm against that. I think you ought to come out from among such stuff as that. But now, if a woman can hold herself as a real lady and trying to help her husband do something to meet some clothes for the kids to go to school, or pay off a bill, or something like that, and she wants to work till that's over . . . Now, this not the Lord, 'cause I don't have no Scripture for this. I'm just saying that'd be my opinion; but otherwise, I wouldn't think just 'cause she wants to work just to run around and have more money to spend, run around, and run to barrooms, or drink, smoke, and carry on; I don't think she should do it. I think she should stay home, try to be a lady, and take care of her house" (COD, p. 1028:Q928).
"So in her management as a housewife ruling in the household set up by him, to order, counsel and educate within her own sphere, the exalted position of the man is made manifest; or if she develops an independent activity in subordination to him, and by virtue of his plenary power, or only in connection with him attains to her proper dignity and worth. She always assumes his station and becomes his queen if he is king; and manifests to others the wealth and honour which belong to her husband]".
The higher position of the man and the dependence of the woman are still further proved from the history of their genetic relationship in creation. "For the man was not made from woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman; but woman for man's sake." From this relationship of woman to man proven in Genesis, Paul draws his inferences with respect to the token of authority under the jurisdiction of her husband always on her head. "The woman therefore ought to have uncut hair because of [God's ordinances delivered by] the angels [or ministers such as the Messengers to the seven Church Ages, Paul, Irenaeus, Martin, Columba, Martin Luther, John Wesley, and William Branham and Old Testament prophets who have delivered the Word of God as confirmed by Hebrews 2:1-6]".
In verses 11 to 12 Paul qualifies his previous expressions in the mutual dependence of the sexes. Each needs the other in the conjugal relationship; and "in the Lord" respect to the harmony of the kingdom of grace and the kingdom of nature, for neither can be dispensed with; both are essentially together and one serves to supplement the other in the ideal of redeemed humanity represented in the Bride of Christ. "Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is from the man [in her genesis (Genesis 2:18, 20)], even so is the man also through the woman [in the reproduction of the race]; but all things are from God [who is the first principle of all things]." The same humanity is in both and they share equally in the same eternal Life.
From this brief digression Paul returns to his subject (11:13-16). "Judge amongst your own selves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has uncut hair it is degrading to him but glorious to a woman? For [neither a veil nor a hat but] her hair is given her for a covering. A woman with cut hair is not fit to pray because she presents herself as one who has rejected the authority of God and man]".

The Prophet said, "Get the briars out of the way [Hebrews 6:8]. Women and men that won't follow God's Word and His Teaching after they claim to be born again, there's something wrong. I'm going to speak with the women just a minute. If a woman that knows that God's Word condemns bobbed hair, and wearing shorts, wearing slacks, and dressing immorally, and haven't got the decency enough to let your hair grow out and put on clothes that look like a Christian, you're deceived. I don't care what you've been through. You might've spoke in tongues like pouring peas on a dry cow hide. You might've danced in the Spirit till you shook the whole building. That don't have one thing to do with it. It shows that the love of the world is still in you, when God condemns that. He said a woman should have her hair long. And nature itself teach you that men should have short hair, because God is over man, and man over woman. And if a woman cuts off her hair, she dishonors her head, which is her husband. If a man lets his hair grow, then he dishonors his head, which is Christ. See (Ye Must be Born Again, p. 25:103)?"
